“You can clearly see her walk right into the gap"
A video of Veena Malik has gone viral on social media. It showcases her crossing the Hussaini Hanging Bridge in Hunza Valley.
Known as the world’s most dangerous bridge, it has become a popular location for vloggers and travellers.
In the video, Veena walked along the bridge whilst it swayed.
But as she posed, it swayed even more and her foot fell into one of the gaps. Veena started to panic as she crouched down and screamed.
When she realised she would be okay, Veena breathed a sigh of relief and worked on getting back up.
It was a scary situation for Veena but the video sparked criticism, with many accusing her of faking her fall and overacting to garner views.
A user noted: “You can clearly see her walk right into the gap between the bridge.”
One questioned: “There isn’t even much of a gap? She is a big girl, there is no way she can fall through a tiny gap like that.
“There was no reason for her to be so ‘scared’. Who is she trying to fool?”
Another said: “The way she is breathing like it was a life and death situation is very annoying.
“Veena Malik is an absolutely insufferable human being.”
According to experts, although the Hussaini Hanging Bridge is dangerous, it can be crossed with focus and ease.
Some have even labelled Veena a “drama queen”, suggesting that the video was intentionally created to attract attention.
One viewer wrote: “Even children wouldn’t be scared to walk on that bridge.
“If you want to create a scene for views, at least do it right. She herself put her foot in the gap. It is all very fake.”
Another commented: “The most unrealistic fall I have ever seen. Not only is it very obvious, it is also very cringe.”
Many discussed the ethics of seeking attention through potentially staged or exaggerated content.
One asked: “Do you think your viewers are fools? Whatever you will show them they will believe it.
“Please respect the audience more and do not take them for fools. Everyone is educated out here.”
