Things escalate as one boy throws an object at the shop workers
Footage showed an aggressive confrontation between shop workers at a convenience store and a group of teenagers.
It is alleged that the teenagers tried to steal from a Best One store, reported to be in Bristol.
The footage, posted by @CrimeLdn on X, showed the immediate aftermath as the teenage group became aggressive and tried to hit the workers as they attempted to force their way in.
Desperate to prevent the youths from entering, the staff members pushed some of the individuals away.
One staff member is seen being punched in the arm while a teenager appears to spit at the shopkeepers.
At one point, one of the staff members stands in the doorway as his colleague loses his temper and rushes out to fight back.
Attempting to play peacemaker, the staff member, who is wearing a brown t-shirt, urges the youths to leave the area.
Things escalate as one boy throws an object at the shop workers, narrowly missing them as it smashes off a nearby wall.
The footage shows a worker trying to separate a grapple between one boy and his colleague, with the latter appearing to punch the youngster.
As the worker encourages his colleagues to get back inside the store, several of the teenagers punch and kick him as he bravely prevents them from entering.
He unsuccessfully tries to close the door as the youths kick it open.
One boy even picks up a lottery outdoor sign and uses it as a battering ram.
The brave staff member rushes out to scare them off.
Meanwhile, a colleague is seen kicking a boy away, who then complains about the kick.
The staff member, who is now outside, talks to the youths in an attempt to calm things down.
One of the boys is heard asking: “Why are you punching little kids?”

The footage went viral and sparked online debate, with many siding with the shop workers.
One wrote: “Well done shopkeepers.”
Another said: “Teens think they are entitled to anything.”
A third added:
“Big respect to the shop staff for not backing down. They shouldn’t have to deal with this.”
Believing the incident was more than alleged shoplifting, a comment read:
“That’s not just shoplifting! It’s damage of property, assault and racism.”
Others voiced their concerns over Britain’s future, with one commenting:
“Wow… the future British values.”
Some called for action against the teenage group.
“You have footage and school uniform, easy to track these offenders. Let the police do them for assault.”
Currently, it is unclear whether police were called or if any arrests were made in connection with the incident.
