Elephant Atta will give away free bags of flour at the Blackburn Food Festival, while also donating supplies to two local community organisations.
The food brand will distribute free 1.5kg bags of flour during the festival, which takes place on July 25 at East Lancs Cricket and Sports Club in Blackburn.
Visitors can collect a free bag from the Elephant Atta stall, with additional bags available from selected vendors throughout the event.
Elephant Atta will be among more than 40 stalls celebrating Lancashire and international cuisine, reflecting Blackburn’s diverse communities.
The festival runs from 11 am to 7 pm and is expected to attract food lovers from across the region.
Alongside the giveaway, Elephant Atta is donating a pallet of flour to Blackburn Foodbank and the Community Fridge on Devonport Road.

Festival organisers also welcomed the contribution.

“It is also wonderful that two local organisations supporting families across Blackburn will receive substantial donations through the festival.”
Blackburn Foodbank provides emergency food and practical support to people experiencing financial hardship.
The charity is currently seeking donations of essential items, including tinned vegetables, tinned fish, tinned chickpeas, biscuits and shampoo.
Meanwhile, the Community Fridge, operated by Al-Buraq Mosque, aims to reduce food waste while supporting residents.
Open to everyone once a week, it encourages people to donate surplus food or collect items they need, helping strengthen community connections.
The Blackburn Food Festival takes place from 11 am to 7 pm at East Lancs Cricket and Sports Club on Dukes Brow, with free flour available while stocks last.
Leader of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Phil Riley, previously called the festival “a fantastic opportunity”.
He added: “The festival will give residents and visitors the chance to discover something new and support independent businesses and I hope to see as many people as possible in attendance.”
