"You’ve become a street-level reviewer."

Former Tamasha contestant Zainab Raja has slammed Junaid Niazi for his alleged misogynistic remarks about Maham Mirza.

This has further fuelled the ongoing controversy around the reality show’s toxic culture.

According to Zainab Raja, season 2 participant Junaid Niazi used misogynistic language and demeaning remarks against her as well.

In a video message posted on social media, Zainab took aim at Junaid’s reaction vlogs, where he allegedly insulted Maham’s education and career prospects.

Zainab said: “You’re clearly not getting views on YouTube, so you thought you’d take advantage of this trending situation.

“But don’t stoop so low as to shame women just to get noticed. You’re saying Maham isn’t even a matric pass and won’t get work.

“Who gave you the right to say that?”

Zainab further accused Junaid of hypocrisy, reminding him of his own controversies from Tamasha Season 2.

She referenced the incident where he allegedly mocked a contestant with dwarfism and used abusive language.

“You’re not the same person who once grabbed someone by the collar and hurled abuse at them, are you?

“That’s the reason you didn’t win, Aruba did.”

Her remarks quickly went viral, reigniting debate over the toxic environment surrounding Tamasha.

Fans and critics alike have condemned the increasing personal attacks among contestants and ex-participants.

They argued that the show has turned into a platform for online feuds rather than entertainment.

Zainab also called out Junaid for judging contestants based on limited footage.

She said that the reality of the show is far more complex than what appears on screen.

“We’re out here owning up to our mistakes in interviews.

“Meanwhile, you’ve become a street-level reviewer, judging people based on a heavily edited 1.5-hour episode out of a 14-hour shoot.”

While she acknowledged Junaid’s right to support fellow contestant Saif, she insisted that his approach was disrespectful.

She remarked: “It’s fine to support Saif, a lot of people do, but he’s not out here shaming others.

“Even he would be embarrassed by the kind of things you’re saying once he comes out.”

Zainab concluded her video by warning Junaid about the professional consequences of his online behaviour.

“Directors and producers won’t care what you think. You’re dependent on them, not the other way around.”

In one of his recent vlogs, Junaid Niazi dismissed Maham as “no one” and accused her of fabricating allegations “just to get content.”

He also made disparaging remarks about another contestant, Kanwal, claiming that she “gives people opportunities to make accusations.”

The escalating spat between the two former contestants has triggered another wave of criticism against Tamasha.

Many social media users are questioning how far the show’s culture of confrontation has gone.

As the online feud continues to gain traction, many believe that Tamasha is losing its credibility as a reality show.
