Shweta Tiwari has been accused by her estranged husband of abandoning their son to go to a TV shoot.
Abhinav Kohli has accused Shweta Tiwari of abandoning their son, Reyansh, to film the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
The show is currently being shot in Cape Town, South Africa.
However, Shweta responded to the allegations, saying she told him about her travel over the phone. She said that their son was safe with her mother and 20-year-old daughter Palak.
Shweta had also reportedly shared CCTV footage of Abhinav assaulting her.
This prompted the National Commission for Women to tell the police to investigate the matter.
Abhinav Kohli has now taken to social media to share that the matter will be heard in court.
The High Court has also asked Abhinav to appear before the court from May 24, 2021, onwards.
Taking to Instagram, Abhinav Kohli wrote:
“I’m grateful that the Honourable High Court had called me on May 5, 2021, to hear my verdict.
“I am now waiting on the official order to be published on the website.”
Explaining the details of his last hearing, Abhinav said:
“My lawyer told the Honourable High Court that Shweta has gone to South Africa. The kid is sick and she is not here to take care of him.”
He revealed what Shweta’s lawyer said:
“Shweta’s lawyer told that Shweta has gone to South Africa for work.”
He also mentioned the instructions given by the court. He said:
“Honourable court has instructed my lawyer to file a written application of my verdict, within a week.”
“Thereafter, the lawyer of Shweta will file her reply, within a week.
“We can then appear before the Honourable High Court during the week commencing from May 24, 2021.”
Abhinav has been taking to social media to speak about the ongoing tensions between him and Shweta.
He also spoke about the CCTV footage that Shweta Tiwari shared and accused him of forcefully holding their son back.
Abhinav denied the allegations and said he hasn’t done anything wrong.
Moreover, he also shared evidence to back up his statements, regarding the allegations against him.
Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli tied the knot in 2013. The couple separated in 2019.
Shweta was previously married to actor Raja Chaudhary. They divorced in 2007 as a result of Raja’s domestic abuse towards her.
