Nora Fatehi brought 90s glamour back to the red carpet with a striking denim and white shirt look at GQ Best Dressed 2026, held at St Regis, Mumbai.
The actress stepped out in a custom creation by Surya Sarkar, combining a crisp cropped shirt with a dramatic floor-length denim skirt for a look that felt distinctly retro while still fitting effortlessly into 2026.
The white shirt was cropped at the waist and tied into a knot at the front, leaving Nora’s toned midriff on display.
An open collar and rolled-up sleeves kept the piece relaxed, while its fitted silhouette gave the look a more structured finish.
The plunging neckline added a sultry edge and also created the perfect space for Nora’s statement jewellery, with the gold accents adding another unmistakable nod to 90s glamour.
Nora’s jewellery came from Viange Vintage, with multiple gold chains layered across her neckline and a large pendant placed at the centre.
Oversized round earrings continued the gold detailing around her face.
But Nora’s denim skirt was the real standout.
Sitting high on the waist, it followed her figure before opening into a long, floor-skimming silhouette.
An asymmetric panel wrapped across the front, with gold buttons running down the seam.
A thigh-high slit revealed one leg, while the skirt extended into a train at the back, adding movement and drama to the otherwise pared-back combination.
The result was a familiar 90s formula, but with a more elevated and contemporary finish.
Nora Fatehi carried the decade’s beauty aesthetic through to her makeup, with Elton J Fernandez creating a warm, softly bronzed base, flushed cheeks and defined brows.
Her eyes were finished with a sharp wing and plenty of lashes, giving the makeup the kind of bold definition synonymous with ’90s glamour.
The brownish nude lip, finished with a glossy sheen, was arguably the most recognisable throwback detail. It complemented the warm tones of her makeup while reinforcing the retro inspiration behind the outfit.
Her hair was swept into an elaborate updo, with loose tendrils framing her face and softening the overall styling.
She completed the outfit with black Christian Louboutin heels, adding a sharper contrast to the flowing denim skirt and keeping the focus firmly on its dramatic silhouette.
