"I am so grateful for this opportunity!"

Actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has returned to the popular dance show, India’s Best Dancer, allegedly by public demand.

Nora had stepped in as a temporary judge on the show after Malaika Arora tested positive for Covid-19.

After her recovery and return to the show, Nora Fatehi left the show.

However, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror, viewers of the show urged producers to bring Nora back.

They felt that she carved a niche for herself as a self-made dancer making her well suited for the dance show.

Not only that, but the TRPs of ‘India’s Best Dancer’ significantly increased for the show when Nora was a judge.

With Nora Fatehi as a judge, ‘India’s Best Dancer’ found itself amongst the top five shows on Indian television.

However, when she left the show, the TRPs significantly decreased. As a result of this, she was brought back as a fourth judge.

A video of Nora Fatehi, Malaika Arora and Geeta Kapur has been shared online by a Nora Fatehi fan page. In the video, the trio is seen dancing to ‘Nach Meri Rani’ while judge Terence Lewis is cheering.

After her time on India’s Best Dancer, Nora Fatehi shared a heartfelt post on Instagram. She wrote:

“Shoutout to the Queen @malaikaaroraofficial thank u for trusting me to fill in for you on Indian’s Best Dancer, it was a beautiful experience!

“I am so grateful for this opportunity! I was initially scared to fill in such big shoes as no one can take your place queen but the entire team welcomed me with open arms and for that I’m humbled!

“We are all so so happy for your recovery may you stay always blessed and may you continue to kill it with your legendary aura, elegance and garminess for many many more years to come!”

During Nora’s time on the show, a video of Terence touching her bottom went viral online.

In the video, when Terence raises his arm, his hand is seen touching Nora’s bottom. This led to Terence Lewis being slammed online.

Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi has featured in a number of hit songs from an array of Bollywood films.

These include ‘Garmi’ from Street Dancer 3D (2020), ‘Kamariya’ from Stree (2018), ‘Dilbar’ from Satyameva Jayate (2018) and ‘O Saki’ from Batla House (2019) to name a few.

There is no doubting her credentials as one of the finest dancers in Bollywood.
