Diljit Dosanjh made history on September 12 when he became the first Punjabi singer to headline Wembley Stadium.
Part of his Aura World Tour, the performance drew around 90,000 people and brought together different eras of his musical career.
The singer moved between Punjabi sounds, rap and hip-hop during a set that lasted for more than two hours.
Fans sang along to some of his best-known tracks, including ‘G.O.A.T’. and ‘Lover’, while Bhangra dancing and phone lights filled the stadium.
The atmosphere was particularly energetic near the stage, where fans copied Diljit’s movements and danced together throughout the show.
The scale of the event was matched by the number of memorable moments throughout the night, with Diljit repeatedly interacting with the crowd.
He also brought some audience members onto the stage, where he handed out gifts and took selfies.
Addressing those watching from the furthest sections of Wembley, Diljit told them they were “full of heart”.
The concert also featured several moments celebrating Punjabi music and culture, both on stage and among the thousands of fans attending.

From the moment he appeared, Diljit made sure everyone understood exactly what the evening represented, chanting:
“Punjabi Aa Gaye Wembley Oye!”
The words rang around the stadium, giving a Wembley twist to the phrase that has become synonymous with his international journey.
Bhangra beats followed as Diljit launched into a show spanning more than two decades of music.
The performance brought together songs from different stages of his career, with the singer moving between Punjabi music, rap and hip-hop.
Thousands of fans joined in, creating a huge response across the stadium as Diljit continued his headline performance.

Diljit surprised fans with his powerful rendition of ‘Sanson Ki Mala Pe’, a classic originally sung by the late Pakistani legendary artist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
One X user called the performance a “historic moment for Punjabi music”.

Throughout the concert, Diljit Dosanjh invited fans on stage but for one concertgoer, it proved to be a full-circle moment.
Parminder Kaur was able to dance with Diljit and on Instagram, she revealed the artist had recognised her from one of his past concerts.
Sharing the video, she commented: “An actual full-circle moment.
“2022 – throwing his shirt at me.
“2024 – then signing the same shirt.
“2026 – to recognising me and being able to dance with him on stage at Wembley is the craziest thing.”
She called the Wembley concert a “particularly memorable experience”.
Waving the Punjab Flag
