Sheezan Khan was granted bail in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case and was seen leaving Thane Central Prison on March 5, 2023.

He was granted bail with conditions.

Tunisha’s body was found in the restroom on the set of the show Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul. Police said that she took her own life.

Her death led to questioning the reasons and motives behind her death.

Tunisha’s co-star Sheezan was detained on suspicion of abetment to suicide.

Tunisha Sharma’s mother said in the case that her daughter and Khan were dating and claimed that the actor was to blame for Tunisha’s death.

It was reported that Sheezan and Tunisha split up a few weeks before her death.

It was also alleged that Sheezan’s mother and sisters allegedly pushed the young actress to wear a headscarf and study Urdu.

Vanita Sharma said: “This man should be punished.

“I want to tell you that Sheezan cheated on Tunisha.

“First, he had a relationship with her saying that he will marry her and later broke up with her.

“He already was involved with another woman in spite of which he got involved with Tunisha and used her for three to four months.

“He should be punished for that. I have lost my daughter.”

In response, Sheezan’s family claimed Tunisha was mistreated by her own family.

A video showing Sheezan’s eventual release from custody has surfaced online.

He was seen leaving the prison gate while wearing a mask.

His sisters Falaq and Shafaq Naaz are seen hugging him as he exits the building. They have a quick hug before moving on to their car.

Sheezan’s bail was approved based on a personal bond for Rs. 1 Lakh and one or more insurances for the same sum.

According to attorney Tarun Sharma, who was appointed by Tunisha’s family, the magistrate court has reportedly ordered Sheezan to turn over his passport to the investigating officer and not to leave Bombay without first receiving permission from the court.

Sheezan must consistently attend court hearings too.

Sheezan Khan has also been ordered by the court not to sway witnesses or tamper with evidence.

The actor had been incarcerated for 70 days.

Sheezan’s sister Shafaq Naaz reacted to the news of his release from custody, saying:

“It’s finally big news (for us).

“We are very happy this is what we have been waiting for.”

Despite the claims that Sheezan and Tunisha’s relationship ended on bad terms, the actor’s family said they broke up amicably.
