"15 days back, Sheezan had broken up with her"
Indian actress Tunisha Sharma, aged 20, allegedly committed suicide due to a breakup with co-star Sheezan Khan on the set of a drama series Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul on Saturday, December 24, 2022
Reports say Tunisha Sharma spent an extended time in the restroom on the set of the drama series she appeared in.
After being missing for a considerable amount of time, Sharma’s co-stars worried when she did not answer after being called upon.
After breaking down the restroom door, Tunisha Sharma was discovered inside unresponsive.
According to senior inspector Kailash Barve of Waliv police station, those on the set of the show transported the actress to a local hospital, where she was tragically pronounced dead.
Her demise has led to questioning the reasons and motives behind her death.
Waliv police have shared that they will look into both the murder and suicide angles.
Sheezan Khan, Tunisha Sharma’s co-star, has been detained on the suspicion of abetment of suicide following a complaint by Tunisha’s mother.
Sharma’s mother said in the case that her daughter and Khan were dating and claimed that the actor was to blame for Sharma’s passing.
Sheezan Khan was kept in custody after the Waliv police filed a case against him under Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) in response to a complaint made by Tunisha’s mother.
The two stars were involved in a relationship that ended 15 days ago, according to the FIR (First Information Report) based on her mother’s testimony.
The separation reportedly hurt Tunisha Sharma.
The FIR copy reads:
“Tunisha was in a relationship with her co-star Sheezan.”
“15 days back, Sheezan had broken up with her, due to which she started living under tension…due to this she was in depression…”
The authorities claim that Tunisha made a drastic decision as a result of her mental state following the split.
According to an official, Khan has been detained based on the FIR and will be brought before the court for custody.
The official stated that the body was submitted for a post-mortem and that additional investigation was ongoing in the case because no suicide note had been located at the scene.
On Sunday, December 25, 2022, early in the morning, JJ Hospital performed a postmortem on her, and no signs of trauma were discovered on her corpse.
According to sources, it appears that Tunisha Sharma died due to asphyxiation (suffocation).
Police have recorded statements from over 14 people in the case. They all are related to the drama show.
The internet has been shocked by the death of the young actress.

Tunisha Sharma was born in 2002 in Chandigarh and started her acting career as a child actor in the Sony TV show ‘Maharana Pratap’.
She starred in several TV shows and Bollywood movies such as Dabangg 3.
