Indian actress, Uorfi Javed spoke out on Instagram in defence of Sheezan Khan in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case.
Known for her reels and videos in which she dons revealing outfits, Uorfi defended Sheezan in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, claiming that he cannot be blamed for her death.
She added that a person cannot be forced to stay with someone against his/her wishes.
Taking to her Instagram on December 28, 2022, Uorfi Javed penned a note that read:
“My 2 cents on Tunisha’s case, yes he might be wrong, he might have cheated on her but we cannot blame him for her death.
“You absolutely cannot make someone stay with you who doesn’t want to stay.”
“Girls no one I repeat no one is worth giving up your precious life for.
“Sometimes it might just seem like the end of the world but trust me it’s not.
“Think about the people who love you or just try loving yourself a bit harder.”
Uorfi further added: “Be your hero. Please give time some time.
“Even after suicide the suffering doesn’t end, the ones that are left behind suffer even more.”
20-year-old actress Tunisha Sharma’s suicide has shocked the entire entertainment industry.
Tunisha was found hanging in the makeup room of her show on Saturday afternoon.
She was rushed to a hospital but declared dead.
Although no note was recovered at the spot, the police have ruled the death a suicide.
According to the post-mortem report, Tunisha died because of suffocation after hanging.
Sheezan Khan, her co-star from the show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul has been arrested by the police after the late actress’s mother filed a complaint alleging abetment of suicide against him.
Waliv Police said that Khan has not yet given any clear reason why he broke up with his co-star.
According to the police, Sheezan broke down during interrogation in front of a female officer after being questioned regarding Tunisha’s death.
A police official said: “When the woman police officer of Waliv police station reached to interrogate the accused, he started crying.
“For two consecutive days, he kept on narrating different theories for breaking up with Tunisha but when a woman officer questioned him, he started crying.”
According to the officer, it was difficult to guess his emotions by looking at his body language, but he then started crying during an interrogation.
On December 27, 2022, fans, family, and members of the television and film industry bid a teary farewell to Tunisha at the Mira Road crematorium ground in Mumbai.
Celebrities including Vishal Jethwa, Ashnoor Kaur, Avneet Kaur, and Shivin Narang among others attended Tunisha’s funeral.
