"I won’t dress that way, but why should I criticise her?”

Iffat Omar came out in support of Uorfi Javed and said that her fashion choices are her own.

Iffat recently appeared on Mohsin Abbas Haider’s talk show Public Demand in which the conversation turned to Uorfi.

Mohsin asked Iffat what she thought of Uorfi’s daring fashion choices, to which she replied she was no one to judge.

Mohsin asked: “How do you view Uorfi Javed’s fashion sense? Does it even fall under fashion?”

Iffat replied: “It isn’t my type of fashion so I won’t dress that way, but why should I criticise her?”

Mohsin further coaxed Iffat to say something by asking:

“Is it justified to do anything in the name of fashion? Does fashion have any parameters? Are there any do’s and don’ts in fashion or no?”

Not one to take the bait, Iffat cleverly replied and stated that there were many do’s and don’ts in the world of fashion, but nobody holds the power to decide what that is.

She went on to say that every individual had the right to dress the way they wanted as they all had their own sense of fashion.

Iffat Omar is known for her own bold fashion choices and has many times been questioned on the way she dresses.

Earlier in 2023, Iffat posted a video on Instagram in which she is seen wearing a corset-type top, and fans took to the comment section to question her outfit choice.

One person said: “Those who are complimenting her [Iffat] are perverts.”

Another wrote: “This is too bold.”

One comment read: “She is trying to look cool and fit in with the Western society, which is absolutely fine.

“But over here, it seems like she is forcing herself to look stylish and trying to give an impression.”

Iffat Omar is a talented individual who has been in the entertainment industry since the 1980s.
