April 10, 2024, marked Eid celebrations for British Muslims but on Birmingham’s Ladypool Road, it was far from celebratory.

A video circulating on social media appeared to show a queue of cars waiting to move on the busy road.

However, what draws people’s attention is a violent attack by a group of young Asian men.

On the road, two men are seen quickly approaching a stationary black Seat Leon, with one aggressively opening the door.

The passenger of the vehicle repeatedly kicks out at his attacker in a bid to deter him.

But he is unsuccessful as the attacker viciously kicks the man, who is still in the car. He then stomps on the victim a few times.

On the other side, his accomplice is seen launching a barrage of punches at the driver, who is outside his vehicle.

Meanwhile, cars behind beep their horn while dozens of onlookers watch the brutality unfold, with some filming it on their phones.

Throughout the brutal attack, the men are heard repeatedly shouting:

“F**k him up.”

A third man is spotted walking back and forth.

Believed to be an accomplice, he appears to be holding a bottle of vodka while the man continues to stomp on the passenger.

As the video comes to an end, occupants of other cars reluctantly approach the attackers, seemingly intending to diffuse the situation.

Although it is not known what sparked the attack, captions of the video on social media claim it was a road rage incident.

On social media, netizens gave their opinion of the situation.

Many stated that such incidents are nothing new on Ladypool Road, with one posting:

“Just a normal day then.”

One asked: “What was that in his hand?”

This prompted another to claim that the item was actually a concealed knife, not a bottle of vodka. The user replied:

“A large knife covered by paper by the looks of it.”

Others said such incidents of violence on Ladypool Road are usually committed by British Asians.

One said: “Usual suspects… it ALWAYS is.”

Another commented: “It’s the usual suspects.”

One user highlighted the link between reckless driving and Asian men, commenting:

“Because they drive like p****s, intimidate other road users, cut you up because they need to be in front of you and shouldn’t be allowed on the road.”

However, another believed it was a gang violence incident.

“No road rage… that’s gang on gang.”

Some viewers blamed their aggression on their poor upbringing.

A user said: “Honestly is the parents to blame.”

Another wrote: “Parenting problems! What on earth will their children be like?”

One person pointed out that there was no sign of the police, especially in such a busy area.

“What happened for a fight to start in traffic? I hope the police were called out!”
