Netizens questioned the timing of Reema Khan's post.

Former Pakistani film and television actor Reema Khan recently went viral after sharing a cheerful snowfall video from the United States.

The short Instagram clip shows Khan surrounded by snow alongside her husband and a small circle of friends outdoors.

Dressed warmly and visibly delighted, she softly sang while enjoying the wintry atmosphere and picturesque white surroundings around her.

The moment appeared spontaneous and light-hearted, portraying a relaxed side of the former star rarely seen recently online.

In her caption, Khan poetically wrote: “Snow covers the world in white, as if giving life a clean page again.”

She further added playful lines such as “Snow much fun. License to chill. Freeze the moment,” embracing the seasonal charm.

While many admirers appreciated the serene visuals, others criticised the video and questioned its timing and overall appropriateness online.

Several viewers commented that they initially mistook her for actress Meera.

They expressed surprise at the unexpected resemblance during the snowfall scenes.

Another user directly addressed Khan, stating they had always considered her sensible and discouraged posting such content publicly.

A few critics argued that during severe winter emergencies, public attention should shift towards relief efforts rather than leisure displays.

The mixed reactions emerged as a dangerous winter storm continued to affect vast regions across the United States.

Reports indicated that at least 23 people had died due to freezing temperatures and weather-related complications nationwide.

Extreme cold reportedly disrupted electricity supplies, transportation networks, and daily life from New Mexico all the way to Maine.

Meteorological authorities warned that an Arctic air mass had settled deeply across the country, intensifying already harsh conditions.

The National Weather Service projected that temperatures in northern states would remain below freezing until the first of February, 2026.

Record-breaking lows were also predicted in southern areas, highlighting the unusual geographic spread of this cold wave.

In light of all this, netizens questioned the timing of Reema Khan’s post, calling it ‘insensitive.’

The video continues to circulate widely, drawing millions of views and ongoing public debate across platforms.
