“We’ve been kind of inseparable"
Love Island‘s Priya Jaswal revealed that Aidan Murphy still hasn’t asked her to be his girlfriend despite being “inseparable”.
Speaking on The Only Way Is Essex’s podcast with Billie Shepherd, Priya was asked about her current relationship status.
Priya shared that she is still single but is seeing how things go without any pressure.
She said: “So we’re not like official official boyfriend and girlfriend, but we’re very much dating.
“We’ve been kind of inseparable since we’ve left [the villa] to be honest with you.
“It was like that last week, obviously in the villa, he sort of said he didn’t have the deeper feelings or whatever.
“But it was always for him; he never wanted to stop getting to know me. Because we were friends first, it was kind of for him like, he’s never done that friends-to-lovers thing.
“So he’s kind of seeing if this is going to work […] because there wasn’t that initial spark between us when we first came in.”
Priya went on to say that things between them are “going really well”, while describing Aidan as “such a nice boy”.
She also gushed that she and Aidan “get on so well”, suggesting that their connection has continued to grow since leaving the villa.
The update comes shortly after Priya shared a video online showing Aidan holding her hand while she underwent Botox.
The clip sparked a mixed response from fans, with some questioning why Priya had opted for the cosmetic procedure when they felt she did not need it.
Priya appeared on this year’s series of Love Island, where she met Aidan and explored several potential connections during her time in the villa.
She also tested the waters with Casa Amor bombshell Jordon before ultimately leaving the show alongside Aidan.
However, their journey came to an end before the final, where Lorenzo and Julia, Simba and Angelista, and Kavan and Jasmine competed for the winning title.
While Priya and Aidan may not have put an official label on their relationship yet, her latest comments suggest the pair are continuing to explore their connection outside the Love Island villa.
