Priya is facing backlash from Love Island viewers for her comment about dumped Islander Elicia’s job during a heated discussion in the villa.
The row unfolded after the Islanders watched clips from Love Island: Aftersun.
One clip included Elicia describing Priya as a “game player”.
The following morning, Priya vented her frustration to the other Islanders.
She ranted: “I don’t care what Elicia says, it’s cringey.
“Go back to the National Rail. Elicia, you work on the National Rail, why are you f***ing sitting in Aftersun?”
Kavan chimed in: “There’s nothing wrong with working in the National Rail, alright?”
Priya continued: “But just go back there and save your breath, instead of sitting there and calling out my s**t, saying I’m a game player. It’s just weird.”
Aidan later pulled Priya aside and told her that her comments about Elicia’s job were “over the line”.
Priya acknowledged his point and replied: “No, I get that, and that’s actually not me.”
But on social media, many criticised Priya’s comments, describing them as “classist” and “nasty”.
Accusing Priya of job-shaming, one wrote: “Priya job-shaming people and their jobs?
“What’s wrong with working on a railway? What does Priya even do?”
Another said: “That’s so weird Priya omg. That National Rail comment was so classist.”
A third added: “Go back to the National Rail?! Yeah Priya has to go home for that.
“The audacity to job shame just because you’ve been called a game player, which is TRUE.”
One comment read: “Go back to the National Rail may seriously be one of the most disgusting things said on Love Island, get Priya off now.”
Others praised Kavan for challenging the remarks while hitting out at the other Islanders for sitting in silence.
One person commented: “That National Rail comment from Priya was smelly. Kav rightfully said nothing wrong with it while the rest sat there.”
Another agreed: “Jasmine and Mica, the feminists laughing as their friend Priya job shames people. Even Kav knows she’s wrong.”

Elicia is not the only Islander Priya has clashed with.
Another clip focused on Julia discussing Priya’s relationship with Aidan.
Julia said:
“I lowkey stand by what I said. I felt like Aidan liked Elicia and it’s safer to stick with Priya.”
Another clip then showed Priya reuniting with Aidan and saying:
“They don’t want to see us win. Who do you want to be in the final with baby?”
Following the footage, Julia responded: “Well in that clip before, I was just saying that you guys coupling up might be easier because you’re running out of time.
“And then the next clip shows you guys talking about the final.”
Priya rejected Julia’s interpretation of the conversation.
She replied: “I think that’s very much a joke though, that’s very much a joke.
“Everything I’ve done in here is point blank genuine, you can see it from my f***ing face, do you know what I mean.”
