ensure that no fights and arguments take place
It has been reported that the producers of an upcoming Bollywood movie have hired someone to mediate egos and arguments on the film set.
The responsibility of the ‘argument mediator’ will apparently be to ensure that no fights and arguments take place between anyone.
An account on X tweeted:
“Just heard that an upcoming film has hired a person whose job is to manage the ego of actors and maintain their equation with each other and director.
“The job is to ensure fights and arguments don’t take place on the set!”
The tweet attracted substantial attention from many users.
Some predicted that the unnamed film was actually Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new movie Love and War.
Slated for a 2025 release, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
One user commented: “It’s Love and War confirmed.”
Another simply said: “Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”
However, one user pointed out the irresponsibility of posting such information on social media.
They wrote: “Occasionally, your behaviour resembles that of an aunt who relishes gossip under the guise of sharing insider information.
“As a responsible journalist, it’s imperative to provide comprehensive details.”

In January 2024, it was interestingly reported that Ranbir Kapoor had put conditions before Bhansali for Love and War.
This was allegedly due to a somewhat negative experience the actor had while working on the film set of Saawariya (2007).
The Indian Express reported: “Ranbir has other commitments from August 2025, so he has requested SLB to wrap up the film on time.
“The other condition is to have fixed working hours.
“During Sawaariya, RK was subject to erratic work timing, and he doesn’t want the episode to repeat again in 2024.
“The last condition is to ensure proper discipline on the set in all departments.”
Filmmakers have previously told stories of ego hassles between people on their sets.
While discussing his film Saudagar (1991), Subhash Ghai suggested that there were incidents between the two leading men: Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar.
He explained: “I learnt that film stars are like kids when they are shooting. They have a lot of tantrums.
“I massaged both of their egos. I told Dilip Kumar that Raaj Kumar is his fan and told Raaj Kumar, ‘Dilip Kumar is your fan’.
“So, their enmity slowly transformed into friendship. I was playing the mediator.
“I can write a 300-page book about what happened on the film set.”
