"when fame of that calibre strikes, it’s kind of confusing."
Hania Aamir is an incredible actress who has graced our screens in many dramas and has gained popularity with her acting talents, beauty and especially her dimples.
She was especially loved for her role as Hala in Mere Humsafar, in which she starred alongside Farhan Saeed.
Appearing on the Faiyza Beg Show, Hania spoke about her rise to fame after Mere Humsafar and admitted that although she was excited about the popularity, it also scared and confused her.
She also said it was nice that people recognised her for her acting and was grateful to her fans.
Hania said: “After Mere Humsafar, things went a little crazy. At that time, I believe it was initially a little overwhelming.
“People would recognise me before, but when fame of that calibre strikes, it’s kind of confusing.
“You’re thankful of course, you thank God because He chose me, gifted me with so many things, and I get the respect and love from so many people, and it’s incredibly sweet.
“But as a frail tiny person, it can be a bit intimidating at first.”
Fans came together to commend Hania on her talents.
One fan claimed the drama was a success only due to Farhan Saeed and Hania Aamir’s pairing.
The comment read: “Mere Humsafar became a blockbuster because of Farhan and Hania’s undeniable chemistry, but storywise it was pathetic.
“Apart from the cute Hamza and Hala moments, there was nothing worthy.”
Hania Aamir also has her own YouTube channel which is doing incredibly well. She was asked if she preferred being an actor or a content creator.
She revealed that although she enjoyed acting and held it extremely close to her heart, her preference was being a social media content creator.
The actress said this was her choice as it allowed her to be her authentic self where she did not have to pretend to be somebody else.
Mere Humsafar is a serial based on the life of Hala who is sent to live with her grandmother and uncles in Pakistan, whilst her father lives in London with his second wife and children.
The story progresses when Hala grows up unloved and her only friend is her grandmother.
Things take a turn when Hamza (Farhan) witnesses her ill-treatment and marries her to provide her protection from his mother.
Viewers are then taken on a journey of Hamza and Hala’s growing love story and the challenges they face to be with one another.
Mere Humsafar boasted a stellar cast of Samina Ahmed, Waseem Abbas, Saba Hameed, Aly Khan, Hira Khan, Omer Shehzad and Aamir Qureshi.
The drama was produced by Humayun Saeed and Shehzad Naseeb. It was written by Saira Raza, whilst Qasim Ali Mureed directed it.
