Nish Panesar will darken the doorway again.
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhury) is set to return with a bombshell in BBC’s EastEnders.
The villainous businessman is the ex-husband of Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
During his time on the show, he has manipulated, blackmailed and subjected Suki to harrowing forms of controlling violence.
In the episode broadcast on March 1, 2024, Nish’s family ultimately had enough of his evil ways.
As a result, they kicked him out of the house and he has not been seen since.
However, that is all set to change as Nish Panesar will darken the doorway again, returning with shocking news.
While it is currently unknown as to what his bombshell will be, it is safe to assume that it is unexpected by Suki and her family.
Nish Panesar was attacked by Denise Fox (Diane Parish) on Christmas Day 2023.
This was after he tried to forcefully drag Suki back to him.
However, Nish was not the only man to face severe consequences on that fateful day.
Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was killed by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) when the latter tried to save her friend (Sharon Watts) from him.
Meanwhile, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) helplessly watched the proceedings.
While an ambulance was called for Nish, the six women hid Keanu’s body in the derelict cafe.
Nish Panesar was led to believe that Keanu was the one who attacked him, but in the weeks before his departure, he grew suspicious.
He subsequently accused Stacey of attacking him.
Unbeknownst to Nish, Keanu’s body was ultimately discovered in April 2024.
The six women framed Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) for the crime, leading him to be charged with Keanu’s murder.
How will Nish react to these developments that dramatically unfolded in his absence?
In February 2024, Navin shed some light on Nish’s future in EastEnders.
He said: “We’ve been speaking with the execs and the writers about the journey over the next six months.
“Genuinely we are on the same page and it sounds really exciting.”
“We all have our chats about what’s going on and when I had my chat about what’s going to be happening with Nish, it’s really what I wanted to hear.
“It’s exciting the journey ahead, but we still have to film it, so let’s see what happens.”
Nish Panesar is one of those characters viewers just love to hate.
There is certainly drama ahead for the Panesar family as the detestable patriarch returns to the brood.
