"I am obsessed with her spitting venom at Nish."
In the latest episode of EastEnders, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) was made homeless by his family who had enough of his villainy.
Recent instalments of the show saw Nish attempt to put Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) behind bars as he thought that she was the one who attacked him during Christmas 2023.
The businessman is unaware that in reality, Denise Fox (Diane Parish) put him in a coma.
He is also livid due to his ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) leaving him for Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
In an episode already uploaded to BBC iPlayer, an argument between Stacey and Suki resulted in the latter leaving the Slater home.
She attempted to make peace with Nish, but he was more concerned about what really happened at Christmas.
Suki stood her ground and said: “If you died at Christmas, the only thing your family would ever have felt was relief.”
Enraged, Nish Panesar started to strangle Suki, but Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota), Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) arrived just in time and rescued her.
That evening, Nish returned home drunk and was shocked to see his family had decided to throw him out of the house.
Suki sat at the head of the table and said: “[Masood] is more than happy to put the whole lease under my name.”
When Nish tried to goad Suki by telling her that she had no money to maintain the house, his son Vinny replied:
“I’ve signed over my 50% to Mum.”
The defeated schemer turned his attention to Priya and declared:
“I took you in when you had nothing.”
Priya smirked and responded: “My gratitude doesn’t extend to wife-beaters.”
Even Nish’s grandchildren would not show him support.
Out of options, Nish Panesar then proceeded to attack Vinny but was thrown out onto the streets by his loved ones.
Suki knelt beside him and whispered: “I don’t feel sorry for you. I feel nothing.”
Since he arrived in Walford in 2022, Nish has continuously made enemies.
Although Navin’s acting has been unanimously praised, viewers have also made no secret of their hate towards Nish.
Following the episode, one fan said: “What a doof-doof, Suki finally has her life back and she’s literally kicked Nish to the curb.
“I’ve never been prouder of her.
“Seeing the rest of her family choose her after she was so worried she would lose them all, is so special.”

Another viewer echoed similar feelings of pride towards Suki and expressed:
“Suki has never been stronger.
“I am obsessed with her spitting venom at Nish while he lays at her feet, a visual representation of the tables turning on what he’s done to her for 30+ years.
“I am so proud.”
Meanwhile, Navin revealed his knowledge of the audience’s thoughts in an interview.
He said: “I am aware that everyone wanted him to die at Christmas.
“I apologise to the audience that I’m still around!”
The star also admitted he has received unsavoury comments from some fans, due to the malevolence of his character:
“There has been the odd comment, there are a few unfriendly messages I’ve been on the receiving end of.
“But most people get it.”
Nish Panesar might have finally received a semblance of comeuppance for his nasty behaviour, but it is safe to assume that he will not back down easily.
