Kinza Hashmi has revealed that she never wanted to act. Instead, she aspired to be a singer and wanted to sing drama OSTs.

During a recent appearance on Mazaaq Raat, she shared that she initially approached a talent agency to become a singer.

Kinza recalled: “After a while, I received a call from the talent agency.

“Upon reaching there, I discovered that they were inviting me to take up acting.

“Initially declining, their persistence led me to eventually agree, and I had my audition recorded.”

Kinza Hashmi mentioned that the director compelled her to join a 15-day acting class.

“This was because he was in the process of casting for a play and specifically wanted a woman with a resemblance to me.”

She was then asked about her initial earnings in showbiz, particularly her first drama.

Kinza disclosed that at the age of 16, she received Rs. 500,000 (£1,400) for her first drama.

“I was 16 years old at that time. Even though I was surprised, I didn’t show it.”

However, fans had mixed opinions on her statements.
