"We would be underwater for literally ten hours."
Disha Patani is one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actresses and has recently been making headlines for being candid about her underwater kissing scene in the upcoming film, Malang (2020).
Ever since the trailer for the film was released fans have been eagerly waiting for Malang (2020) to hit the big screen.
The gripping trailer showcases the four protagonists; Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kumal Khemu as diverse individuals.
The respective stars live life according to their whims and are certainly not afraid to take a life in the process.
The buzz surrounding the romantic-thriller film is currently the talk of the town because of the mystery in the trailer and the film’s hit songs like ‘Hui Malang’ (2020) and ‘Phir Na Milen Kabhi’ (2020).
Adding to the anticipation of Mohit Suri’s directorial venture, Malang (2020), the underwater kissing scene between Aditya and Disha has set pulses racing.
Speaking about the underwater kissing scene, Disha Patani explained the challenges she faced while filming it. She said:
“It was very difficult to shoot the scene because we would be underwater for literally ten hours.
“And the entire shoot was for almost twelve to fourteen hours. Staying underwater and giving those expressions being in character was quite a bit of a challenge.”
Disha continued to mention that the two stars required training for the scene. She said:
“Adi (Aditya Roy Kapur) and I tried for about two to three days with a proper coach before we actually shot for the underwater sequence.”
There is no denying the amazing on-screen chemistry between Disha and Aditya. Disha looks sensational in her bikini-clad avatar as she oozes a sexy appeal.
Her character in the film appears to have numerous layers which will only be unveiled when the film releases.
In the trailer of Malang (2020), Disha’s character’s motto is, “To live life from one high to another.”
Her character certainly has viewers hooked as she surely is the life and soul of Malang (2020).
The year 2020 seems to be a busy one ahead for Disha Patani. As well as starring in Malang (2020), Disha will also be seen in Radhe (2020) opposite Salman Khan.
Prabhu Deva’s Radhe (2020) will be the second time Disha is paired alongside Salman Khan after Bharat (2019).
It does not end here for Disha. The 27-year-old actress will also star in Ekta Kapoor’s KTina (2020).
Meanwhile, Malang is due to hit the big screen on February 7, 2020.
