"there was no awkwardness or raised eyebrows.”

Alyy Khan discussed a notable kissing scene with Kajol in the web series The Trial.

However, his comments have stirred controversy on social media.

Alyy was asked: “How is it? You are not allowed to kiss in Pakistan.

“And you have worked in Hollywood as well as Bollywood. How does it work? The angles and direction?”

Hinting at his wife, Alyy replied:

“I have a 20-year experience of kissing.”

Reflecting on the scene, Alyy said: “Our family was in Thailand, watching The Trial together.

“My wife Chandni and our fifteen-year-old daughter were also present. As the kissing scene unfolded on screen, we watched it without any discomfort.

“The scene ended. My wife and daughter looked at me and then turned back to the screen and began to watch again.

“It was a moment of pride for me, seeing that there was no awkwardness or raised eyebrows.”

However, Alyy Khan’s revelation about watching the scene with his family has drawn criticism from fans.

Many argued that individuals of refined upbringing refrained from exposing themselves or their families to explicit content.

They showed disappointment and condemnation towards Alyy Khan for normalising such behaviour.

Several fans expressed their disapproval, stating that boasting about watching intimate scenes with family members is inappropriate.

They believe that it does not reflect well on Alyy Khan.

A user wrote: “You are a shameless man. Your entire bloodline is full of shameless people.

“Your daughter will also grow up to be like you since her father is like that.”

Another added: “What is there to be so proud of? This is so sickening I can not believe him.”

One said: “Okay when your daughter kisses a strange man, you can not raise eyebrows at her either now. You have just given her a green signal.”

A social media user wrote: “How is this man sitting on television talking about something so inappropriate so casually?

“I can’t imagine the vulgarity he partakes in behind the screen.”

A comment read: “Hypocrisy at its peak. So women can kiss anyone and their families can’t say anything.”
