"He always wanted to be a star"
Izaaz Miah is currently in ITV2’s Big Brother but according to a friend, he has always had fame in his sights.
This comes as his past attempt at a pop career resurfaced online.
The 29-year-old is originally from Swansea but now lives in London.
According to a friend, it is “not surprising” to see the “very motivated very driven” estate agent on television as he “always wanted to be a star”.
He was even part of a boyband during secondary school.
Images show the Big Brother contestant in his former band.
One picture shows Izaaz wearing sunglasses and a hoodie rapping alongside classmates Joel Murray and Ryan Lewis.

The track, believed to be titled ‘New Faces’, features the lyrics:
“I got money raining in, take as much as you like, my Lambo’s outside, with your name on the back.
“It’s all about the money and the fame, I chase the girls who love the fun and the games.”
Another photo features Izaaz in his uniform at his school hall.
A friend claimed Izaaz always wanted to be famous and this will make him a popular contestant in Big Brother.
The friend told The Sun: “Izaaz has all the traits of a successful housemate.
“He always wanted to be a star – he always wanted to be famous. He’s very motivated, very driven.
“He was popular among his peers – he was even part of a boyband. He’s overcome a lot.”
On the struggles Izaaz has been through, the friend continued:
“He was the chubby kid in school. His dad passed away when he was quite young and he became a single dad in his early twenties.
“I think he’s going to be confident and funny. I think he will be playing a game.”
“He demonstrated his determination and enthusiasm in his work, and I certainly think he’s got the personality.
“He’s principled – and a lot of people will see these personal attributes.”

The friend predicts Izaaz could go all the way, adding:
“I think he could get to the final – no problem.”
Single father Izaaz said that if he were to win Big Brother, the £100,000 prize money would go towards his son’s future.
“I have a five-year-old son. If I was single, I’d probably spend it on enjoying a few things.
“£100,000 is a lot of money and a good amount of money to try and stabilise a better future. I would use it to help my son as he grows older.
“If I do end up having more kids or a family later on – it’s sustainability for the family later on.”
