Kundali Bhagya actress Sana Sayyad has joyfully announced the arrival of her baby girl, born on October 9, 2024.
She shared the delightful news with her followers on social media, posting a sweet note on her Instagram Story that read:
“Welcome baby girl. 09/10/2024. Sana & Imaad.”
While she hasn’t yet shared any photos or videos of her newborn, the excitement surrounding her family’s new addition is palpable.
Sana had been sharing glimpses of her pregnancy journey through a series of maternity photoshoots, showcasing her baby bump.
In September 2024, she announced:
“There’s nothing like a brand new pair of GENES!!! Our little miracle is on the way. #autumnbaby.”
In a previous interview, Sana spoke candidly about her pregnancy experience, describing it as an emotional journey.
She revealed that her due date was in October. The actor also shared that her husband, Imaad Shamsi, had a strong inkling that they would have a girl.
Sana Sayyad recounted the moment she discovered she was pregnant, expressing the mix of emotions she felt.
“Initially, I didn’t know what to do. I just sat with my pregnancy kit.”
When Imaad came home that day and held her hand, he noticed something was different.
Upon seeing the positive test, both of them cried tears of joy before breaking into laughter. Their families were equally emotional, sharing in their happiness.
Despite her excitement, Sana faced some challenges during her pregnancy, including a low placenta count, which led her doctor to advise caution.
This was one of the reasons she decided to stop working after her fourth month of pregnancy.
Sana and Imaad, who tied the knot in 2021 after several years of dating as college friends, have been a beloved couple in the public eye.
Sana Sayyad is best known for playing Dr Palki Khurana in Kundali Bhagya.
When she left the show, many speculated it was because she was pregnant. At the time, Sana remained silent on the matter.
Adrija Roy replaced Sana as Palki.
Although Sana stepped away from her role in Kundali Bhagya, she played Palki in a guest appearance in Kumkum Bhagya.
The actress has also appeared in popular shows such as MTV’s Splitsvilla, Divya Drishti, and Spy Bahu.
