Speculation regarding Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding is at its zenith.
As per reports, their mehendi ceremony will take place on April 13, 2022, followed by a sangeet ceremony on the 14th, while their wedding is on the 15th.
While fans are eagerly waiting for any confirmation about the wedding, not just the Kapoors and the Bhatts but even their colleagues in the industry are tight-lipped about it.
Shahid Kapoor, who is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Jersey, was recently asked for a comment on the speculated wedding of Alia and Ranbir.
The actor, however, chose to not respond.
Alia and Ranbir’s wedding is quite the event of the year. The couple has been dating for one year and has often addressed their relationship.
Shahid, meanwhile, has worked with Alia in films such as Udta Punjab and Shaandaar.
In an interview with India Today, Shahid Kapoor said: “I refrain to comment till there’s an official announcement.
“Till the time it’s media speculation, it’s a speculation.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly getting married in the coming week.
A recent report by the Bombay Times said that Ranbir has booked the banquet hall at his residential complex in Mumbai for a week for the wedding festivities.
Ranbir and Alia’s wedding venue is said to take place at the Kapoor family home in Chembur.
According to reports, Alia and Ranbir’s guest list for their reception includes stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor.
While fans wait for the couple to confirm the news of their wedding, a source has told India Today that the Bollywood duo has already planned their honeymoon.
The source claimed: “After celebrating the New Year abroad, the couple has planned to take a safari in Africa again.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt visited Africa in early 2022.
Fans would remember that Alia had shared pictures of their holiday on Instagram.
After tying the knot with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor will begin shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
The actor will feature in the film with Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
At the same time, the actor will be shooting for Luv Ranjan’s untitled film in which he will share the screen with Shraddha Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Alia will be jetting off to the US to begin shooting for her Hollywood debut.
The actress collaborated with Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot for the film, Heart Of Stone.
She also has Karan Johar’s film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, with Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
