"Asher and Noah are our biological children"
Bollywood actress Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber have welcomed twin boys to their family! The healthy twins were born through surrogacy.
The couple announced the good news on Monday 5th March 2018 on social media by sharing a lovely picture of the family including their adopted daughter Nisha Kaur Weber.
In the post, Sunny introduced the names of her children as, Asher Singh Weber and Noah Singh Weber. The 36-year-old actress was elated to share the news and said:
“We planned and tried to have a family and after so many years our family is now complete.”
The actress also tweeted: “Just so there is no confusion Asher and Noah are our biological children. We chose surrogacy to complete our family many years ago and it’s now finally complete 🙂 so happy!”
The picture-perfect family photo has Sunny, Daniel and Nisha all dressed in white t-shirts and blue jeans holding the two lovely babies.
Sunny also wrote:
“Our boys were born a few weeks ago but were alive in our hearts and eyes for many years. God planned something so special for us and gave us a large family. We are both the proud parents of three beautiful children. Surprise everyone!”
A statement released by Sunny’s team said:
“We chose to do surrogacy with a fertilised egg from Daniel’s genes and my genes. Asher and Noah are our biological children and God sent us an angel surrogate to carry our boys until they were born.”
The couple had adopted Nisha Kaur Weber in July 2017. After adopting Nisha and ecstatic Sunny had said:
“The moment we got the picture [of Nisha]; I was so excited, happy, emotional and [experienced] so many different feelings. We literally had three weeks to finalise everything. Usually, people get nine months to prepare!”
Surrogacy has become a common phenomenon among Bollywood celebrities.
Director Karan Johar is also a father to twins Yash and Roohi via surrogacy. Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan also had their third child, AbRam through surrogacy.
In addition, yesteryear star Jeetendra’s son, Tusshar Kapoor who is still unmarried, opted for surrogacy to welcome his son Laksshya Kapoor.
It is clear that welcoming two more children into their growing family is a dream come true for Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber.
