Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with her longtime beau Anand Ahuja in Mumbai on 8th May 2018.
The wedding was held in Mumbai at her aunt Kavita Kapoor’s bungalow.

Sonam’s bridal look consisted of a traditional red and gold lehenga with lotus patterns by designer Anuradha Vakil.
She looks radiant as the bride and was also seen sporting the red chooda (red bangles worn by a Punjabi bride).
Anand chose to wear a golden sherwani with a ruby contrast mala for the big day.
The Anand Karaj was held between 11 am to 12.30 pm in the presence of close friends and family. The wedding was performed according to Sikh rites.
The who’s who of Bollywood arrived later on to give their blessings to the newly married couple. Sonam’s father, Anil Kapoor was also seen greeting the paparazzi outside the wedding venue.
Stars of the film industry, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar were spotted attending the ceremony. Kareena Kapoor Khan also arrived with Saif Ali Khan and little Taimur Ali Khan for the wedding.
Sonam’s traditional look in the red lehenga truly made her look like one of the most beautiful brides in Bollywood. Sonam and Anand also posed for some quirky pictures after the ceremony.
In one of the pictures, Anand went down on his knees whereas Sonam blushed with excitement.
The couple had met through a common friend a few years ago and were later in a relationship for over two years.
Ever since pictures of their vacations together went viral over the social media, Sonam and Anand have been winning hearts from their fans.
After the wedding ceremony, Sonam and Anand had a special cake cutting session. The quirky cake was designed by popular Mumbai based baker Pooja Dhingra.
The adorable cake sees the bride drag her husband off the basketball court as he attempts to play basketball.
Sonam’s cousins, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were also seen looking gorgeous in pink and yellow lehengas. The girls were seen arriving with Sonam’s uncle Boney Kapoor at the wedding venue.
This wedding has been a big Bollywood event of the year so far, with fans taking to Twitter to congratulate the newlyweds and sending countless messages wishing them well.
In the meantime, fans are also enjoying their favourite celebrities dressing up for this big occasion.
Director Karan Johar was seen posing with Bollywood’s gorgeous ladies Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji whilst sharing pictures on his Instagram account.
He has been an active part of Sonam’s wedding and has attended all the ceremonies with much delight.
Sonam’s cousin Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have also been having a blast at the wedding festivities.
The duo was seen striking cool poses with Karan Johar at the venue. The comic duo even sang for Sonam at the reception.

After the gorgeous wedding, Sonam and Anand had a grand reception at Mumbai’s Leela Hotel. Sonam changed out of her traditional red and opted for something beautifully modern.

A bigger guest list was sent out for the reception since the wedding ceremony was mainly attended by close friends and family.
As expected more of the Bollywood industry made an appearance, including the likes of Kangana Ranaut, Jackie Shroff, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Manish Malhotra and Imran Khan.
Kareena Kapoor swapped out her pastel pink of the morning and opted for a sizzling saree drenched in gold. Katrina also wowed with a sizzling red lehenga choli.
SRK looked dashing in his black sherwani suit accompanied by wife Gauri Khan who wore a lovely brown sequenced gown.
Celebrations were in full swing at the wedding party with dad Anil Kapoor and cousin Arjun Kapoor busting some moves together on the stage as seen in the video below:
