"Amber has no defence at all."
The latest episode of The Apprentice 2025 saw the candidates tasked with creating a virtual pop star.
Lord Alan Sugar also instructed them to devise a song and a music video, before pitching to companies, to secure sponsorships.
On her team, Amber-Rose Badrudin put herself forward to be the Project Manager.
However, it became clear during the task that her leadership style was not sitting right with her teammates.
She was criticised for not appointing Jordan Dargan as sub-team leader, despite his expertise in 3D animation.
Amber-Rose particularly developed friction with salon chain owner Nadia Suliaman, who said:
“I absolutely feel that I’m being swept aside. It’s very much Amber-Rose’s way or the highway.”
In the boardroom, the team’s product was criticised for its logo and for having a digital, AI voice on their track.
Ultimately, Amber-Rose’s team secured sponsorship deals of £112,000 from three brands.
However, their rival team achieved a higher total of £215,000, marking a victory.
Amber-Rose chose to bring back Nadia due to her disruption during sales and Aoibheann Walsh for her lack of contribution to the task.
Lord Sugar chose to fire Aoibheann from The Apprentice. The 36-year-old salon owner claimed that Amber-Rose should have been eliminated instead.
She stated: “It should have been [Amber-Rose] because [Jordan Dargan’s] profession is animation, and she completely just rushed past that and didn’t let him be sub PM, which I couldn’t understand.
“I do think it would have stood by us if we had have had him on our team.
“She also chose the genre of rap music, and the theme was a lot about cash and money, and I just thought it was very distasteful for the brands that we were tailored towards.
“Filming in The Bridge Cafe, that got so heated.
“Because right at that moment, Amber-Rose had said to me, ‘You did nothing in this task, and you just coasted along, and you have been from the get-go’.
“It actually flips over to Mia [Collins] and she says, ‘No, Aoibheann actually sold in the last task which you actually didn’t’.”
It appeared that Aoibheann was not the only person who was surprised that Amber-Rose stayed in The Apprentice at the end of the episode.
Several users took to X to express their shock and frustration.
One person wrote: “Amber has no defence at all. She led the whole team downhill.”
Another added: “I’m sorry, but Amber-Rose should have left.”
A third said: “What do you mean, Amber-Rose did not get fired?”
When Lord Sugar asked Amber-Rose why she should remain in The Apprentice, she replied:
“I genuinely feel like I have so much to give to this process.”
“I can take accountability. I’m really passionate, as you can tell.”
Amber-Rose Badrudin is a 24-year-old convenience store owner who built her business with help from social media.
The Apprentice continues on Thursday, February 13, 2025, when the remaining candidates will be tasked with sourcing nine items in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The task will test their logistical and negotiation skills.
