"I just think she is a beacon of light."
The latest episode of the BBC’s The Apprentice saw the candidates take on live selling on television.
In the task broadcast on Thursday, March 26, 2026, Lord Alan Sugar asked the contestants to sell items to the public on camera.
Unlike previous live selling tasks, where some candidates stayed in the gallery, all contestants were required to sell on television.
Conor Galvin was the Project Manager for Team Eclipse, who chose to sell a core exercise machine, a yoga mat, an electric shoe dryer, and bracelets.
Rothna Akhtar and Dan Miller selected the bracelets but were criticised for not choosing rings.
The rings went to Team Alpha. Despite not selling any, they sold more overall products, garnering sales of £893.60.
Meanwhile, Team Eclipse lost with a lower total of £773.82.
From the losing team, Lord Sugar fired Levi Hague and Conor, while keeping Kieran McCartney, Dan, and Rothna.
Off-screen, Conor revealed which candidate he was rooting for to win the series.
He said: “If Rothna doesn’t win The Apprentice, I will be shocked. She’s brilliant. She’s amazing.
“She is just so emotionally intelligent.
“She was the backbone of the house, and everyone adored her.
“She is so astute, she is so clever, and she is so kind. She’s so aware.
“I just think she is a beacon of light and has really been a standout in the process so far.”
Meanwhile, others have been campaigning hard to see Karishma Vijay bag Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment.
In this episode, some fans were worried for Karishma’s future in the show, as she failed to sell any of the rings.
One viewer commented: “Karishma dropped the ball for the first time.
Another added: “This is Karishma’s only f**k up in the process so far.
“If she gets fired, then I won’t be watching the rest of the series.”
The episode also signalled a variety of firsts. Pascha Myhill bagged her first victory as Project Manager.
Elsewhere, losing candidate Kieran offered to be Project Manager for the next task and promised to exit the process if he lost.
Similar ultimatums have been given to losing candidates in previous series by Lord Sugar.
The business magnate accepted Kieran’s offer, with Baroness Karren Brady saying: “Wow. Kieran, be careful what you wish for.”
The Apprentice continues on Thursday, April 2, 2026, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, at 9 pm.
The seven remaining candidates will be tasked with creating and pitching new pet products.
