"If I can then anyone can.”
Indian tennis player Sania Mirza has shared the amazing results of her weight loss journey from gaining weight after her pregnancy.
Sania is one of the most successful female tennis players in India and has established her mark in the sport.
The athlete tied the knot with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik on April 10, 2010, in Hyderabad, India. Their union defied harsh criticism and borders.
On October 30, 2018, the couple became proud parents to Izhaan Mirza Malik and as a result, Sania took a break from tennis to concentrate on her son.
Unfortunately, Sania Mirza was bullied online for her weight gain despite it being normal for a woman to gain weight after pregnancy.
At that time, Sania weighed 89 kg and has since been shedding the weight.
Currently, Sania Mirza’s amazing weight loss transformation has led her to stand at an incredible 63 kg.
Sania Mirza took to Instagram to share her amazing news. She posted a before and after picture highlighting her weight loss transformation.
In the first picture, Sania can be seen wearing a yellow ensemble looking visibly overweight.
In the second picture, the tennis ace can be seen donning her gym wear looking remarkably slimmer and fitter.
Sania captioned the post with a heartfelt note expressing her delight of having shed the mass. She said:
“89 kilos vs 63 we all have goals … everyday goals and long term goals.”
“Take pride in each one of those … it took me 4 months to achieve this goal of mine, to get back to being healthy and fit after having a baby … feels like such a long way to come back and regain fitness and being able to compete at the highest level again.
The tennis player has also motivated her fans and followers to achieve their desired weight goals. She said:
“Follow your dreams. No matter how many ppl tell you, you can’t cause God knows how many of those we have around us. If I can then anyone can.”
Despite the negative comments Sania Mirza received, she found motivation and lost weight for herself and to get back to playing the game she loves.
It seems the tennis star is once again back in form and ready to take to the court.
