The US awards ceremony Emmys 2017 will take place on 17th September. Ahead of the event, organisers have released their list of presenters. For this year, we will see both Riz Ahmed and Priyanka Chopra presenting!

The list for the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards became unveiled on 6th September. Additional names were also announced on 9th and 10th September.

While The Hollywood Reporter revealed that many American names will take part in presenting, it also added the names of the British Asian actor and the Bollywood actress.

In particular, Riz Ahmed features as one of the presenters who also has nominations in the Emmys 2017.

Back in July, he received a nod for ‘Lead Actor in a Limited Movie or TV Series’ for his outstanding role in The Night Of. He has also landed a nomination for ‘Guest Role in a Comedy Series’, thanks to his appearance in Girls.

Meanwhile, Priyanka herself has not earned any nods for the Emmys 2017. Despite her spectacular appearance in Quantico, it wasn’t enough to land her a spot in any of the award categories.

However, the starlet will have great experience in presenting at the prestigious awards ceremony. In 2016, she presented the ‘Director of an Outstanding Limited Series or Movie’ award along with Tom Hiddleston. They hit headlines for their playful, flirtatious behaviour towards each other.

Priyanka also made our jaws drop with her gorgeous red dress. For this year, we wonder what dazzling outfit she will wear for the ceremony? Indeed, Riz Ahmed also carries out superb style with handsome suits.

Hopefully, he won’t get confused for Dev Patel this time!

Altogether, organisers have compiled a great list of top actors and actresses for the Emmys 2017. TV fans can expect the likes of Alec Baldwin, Oprah Winfrey and much more taking to the stage to present awards.

Stephen Colbert, well known for presenting The Late Show, will act as the event’s host.

With the popular awards ceremony soon approaching, many will watch to see the winners on 17th September. They’ll also eagerly wait to see Riz and Priyanka present awards.

Will they get up to any amusing antics along the way? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
