Pakistani TV series Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi has surpassed one billion YouTube views.
By doing so, it has become the first drama series in Pakistan to cross the one billion mark while still airing on TV.
The feat was announced by ARY Digital on Instagram.
The caption read: “Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi becomes the first drama serial in Pakistan’s history to cross 1 Billion views on YouTube during its airing on TV!”
In less than 24 hours, the post gained over 20,000 likes.

Danish Taimoor, who plays Shamsher in the drama’s lead male role, also posted about the accomplishment on Instagram.
He has received over a massive 140,000 likes in under 24 hours.
The actor’s fans praised him for the significant accomplishment.
One fan commented: “Biggest hit of the year.”
Another user said: “Congratulations king you deserve this.”
Additionally, significant praise in the comments has come from people in India.
They adore Danish Taimoor’s on-screen chemistry with the stunning and gifted Dur-e-Fishan Saleem who plays Mehak.

Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi has had tremendous success and fame. The drama has seized and maintained the second spot in TRPs, and people adore the programme.
The popular television show centres on the story of Shamsher, a business tycoon’s son, who develops feelings for Mehak (Dur-e-Fishan Saleem).
Mehak comes from a middle-class family, is modest by nature, and is the daughter of a university professor.
Mehak develops a hatred for Shamsher as a result of some unfavourable occurrences that happen along the way.
The plot becomes even more complicated due to the disapproval of Shamsher’s family for their connection.
The series also stars Noman Aijaz, Hammad Shoaib, Shahood Alvi, Laila Wasti, Atiqa Odho, Laiba Khan, Tipu Shareef, Zainab Qayyum, Emad Butt and Shehzeen Rahat in supporting roles.

The drama is aired every Wednesday at 8 pm on ARY Digital.
