Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan on December 6, 2022, announced his much-speculated Bollywood debut.
He confirmed he will be donning the writer’s hat, and not as an actor.
He posted a glimpse of his first film script, which is backed by Shah Rukh and Gauri’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Posting a picture of clapboard and script, he wrote: “Wrapped with the writing… can’t wait to say action.”
He did not reveal any hint about the film genre, title, or even anyone else who might be involved in the making.
Reacting to the announcement post, Gauri Khan commented: “Can’t wait to watch.”
Sanjay Kapoor wished him for the venture and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter, Shanaya Kapoor, cheered: “Wooooo.”
Shah Rukh Khan wrote: “Wow…. thinking… believing…. dreaming done, now onto dare…. wish you the best for the first one. It’s always special….”
To this, Aryan Khan replied: “Thank you! Looking forward to your surprise visits on set.”
Shah Rukh funnily wrote: “then better keep afternoon shifts!! No early mornings.”
While several fans and celebrities have dropped hearts and extended their well-wishes, actors, including Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt have showered their likes on the development.
Aryan Khan was previously rumoured to be working as a film writer for his debut web series.

However, there was no solid evidence to back up the claims.
He is actively involved in Shah Rukh Khan’s various business projects and also attended the International League T20 trophy launch in Dubai with Suhana Khan earlier this year.
Besides this, he is also seen attending parties and get-togethers in Mumbai with his close friends, which include Ananya Panday, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shanaya, and Suhana.
Though not quite active on social media, Aryan Khan shared a few pictures from a photoshoot a few months ago.
Soon after he shared the post, his comment section was flooded with comments.
His sister Suhana Khan commented star eyes emojis.
Gauri Khan wrote: “My boy… love love love.”
Shah Rukh Khan commented: “Looking really good!!… and as they say, that whatever is silent in the father…. speaks in the son. By the way is that grey t-shirt mine!!!”.
Aryan Khan previously made headlines after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team busted an alleged drugs party on a ship, which was on its way to Goa at mid-sea.
He was arrested along with other accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in the case.
He was later released and given a clean chit in the matter.
