Agha Ali confirmed his divorce from Hina Altaf, putting an end to two years of speculation.
The announcement came during a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt and clips of their conversation quickly went viral on social media.
During the podcast, Ahmed began by playfully referring to Agha as a “happily divorced man”.
Agha responded with a hearty laugh, stating: “You just knocked someone down from a height.”
The discussion highlighted the personal nature of their marriage, with Ahmed noting that while it was an unfortunate event, life goes on.
Agha shared his perspective on relationships: “I think any relationship in life that you have made with your own happiness, you have to keep it alive.
“One should try hard and pray, but if things are not going in the right direction then the relationship should be ended.”
Ahmed commended both Agha and Hina for handling their situation well, saying:
“You both handled it very well, which I value and respect a lot. Otherwise, it is publicised. A drama is created on social media.”
Agha reflected on the difficulty of the decision, expressing gratitude that their separation wouldn’t affect any children.
Emphasising the importance of mutual respect, he said:
“That is the best thing because often when a relationship ends, people don’t respect each other and hatred builds up.”
He noted that parting ways on good terms is essential to avoid malice and resentment.
Sharing a personal insight, Agha mentioned: “My father died when I was five years old, so I can understand how a child can live without a mother or father; thankfully, nothing like that happened.”
He requested that people pray for both him and Hina as they navigate this new chapter.
While speculations about their divorce had been circulating for a while, fans are still heartbroken after the confirmation.

Agha and Hina married in May 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, rumours of their separation began circulating in 2022, which Agha had previously denied.
This isn’t the first time their divorce has been discussed publicly. In August 2024, morning show host Madeeha Naqvi appeared to confirm it on her show.
She later clarified that her comments were a “slip of the tongue”.
