Off-White x Nike is one of the biggest and most hyped collaborative forces in sneaker history.
Designer, entrepreneur, artist and DJ Virgil Abloh is the CEO and founder of the Italian luxury fashion label Off-White.
The collaboration between Abloh and Nike, ‘The Ten’ is very unique, exploring and redesigning classic Nike sneakers all with an Off-White twist!
Specifically, Virgil had a self-made rule, to only edit 3% of the shoe as he was fascinated by being able to preserve the original blueprint of the sneaker.
The capsule followed two extraordinary themes, one being “REVEALING” and the other being “GHOSTING”.
The “REVEALING” collection features hand-cut and reconstructed builds whilst “GHOSTING” goes for more of a translucent uppers vibe.
This street cool designer perfectly captures the essence of contemporary street attitude on to the iconic Nike silhouettes.
It also features the unconventionally bold yet super fly use of quotations such as “AIR”, “FOAM”, “SHOELACES”, “85”, deconstruction and more.
Due to the immense hype surrounding this fabulous collaboration, the internet was overwhelmed and almost broke!

Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Chicago’

As per StockX, one person bought these highly in-demand work of art for £8,025 (Rs. 7.56 Lakhs) during a 12-month period.
Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘White’
The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 ‘White’ is the predecessor of the collaboration between Jordan Brand and Off-White, publicising on March 3, 2018.
Clearly, actor Ranbir Kapoor is a sneakerhead as he was seen in these, swagged out in a black Supreme hoodie, black cap, black shades and ripped jeans.
Additionally, Ranbir styles these shoes smartly with a cool orange suit paired with a leopard print shirt for Vogue India.
This is the reimagination of the Chicago colourway and boy Abloh done a fine job once again. This particular model, as the name states, comes in an all-white colour scheme with light blue detailing.
Although this white rendition is more simple than the OG one stated above, it still carries that same x-factor.
Still pushing the boundaries for streetwear, sneakers and culture whilst at the same time setting trends.
The use of premium leather materials sits satisfyingly across the crafted mesh upper. Featuring the same details as the original, the main differences being the colour palette and the light blue zip tie.
This sleek silhouette was exclusively available in limited quantities for European countries only.
Initially, the retail price for these Off-White x Air Jordan 1 sneakers was £160 (Rs. 15.19k). Since their arrival, the value of these kicks have skyrocketed, ranging from £1,342 – £2,531 (Rs. 1.26 Lakhs – Rs. 2.39 Lakhs).
On the site StockX, £4,517 (Rs. 4.26 Lakhs) is the highest these shoes have sold for in 365 days.
Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘UNC’
The ‘UNC’ is the third colourway of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 collaboration, hitting shelves on May 23, 2018.
Actor Varun Dhawan rocks the Off-White UNC 1s, representing them in a light blue t-shirt, navy tracksuit bottoms and a grey zip hoodie.
These trainers are in the colours of UNC (The University of Carolina). Markedly, UNC colours symbolise where Michael Jordan learnt the game before he became the world’s most influential basketball athlete.
Similarly, this follows the same creative blueprint as the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 ‘Chicago’ and ‘White’. In contrast, this particular silhouette is displayed in a vibrant blue colour scheme.
The blues corresponds superbly against the white tones used on this crep. Yet again, the entire deconstruction vibe is very eye-catching.
When these hit shelves, they were amounting to the same price as the other three, £160 (Rs. 15.19k). If you were unlucky and missed the drop, this will cost you £1,474 – £1,726 (Rs. 1.39 Lakhs – Rs. 1.63 Lakhs).
Additionally, the highest that these kicks have sold for in a 52-week period on StockX was for £2,253 (Rs. 2.12 Lakhs).
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘White/Sail’
Releasing on November 19, 2017, as part of ‘The Ten’ project, we have the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘White/Sail’.
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor was spotted wearing these clean creps with a black top and navy with black accents Off-White baggy cargo pants.
This classic 80s basketball shoe was transformed like never before, coming in hot in the translucent shaded upper.
Reportedly, these sneakers are one of the most experimental designs by Abloh from the original ‘The Ten’ collection.
This takes the essential Air Force 1 silhouette and thoroughly reduces it. Down to the padding, all layers are removed to achieve the deconstructed look.
Visibly, these also include snappy quotations to state the obvious in a stylish manner.
Furthermore, the use of soft suede is covered by synthetic housing whilst the conflicting colours of beige and white are present in the leather upper.

It’s 12-month high sale price amounts to a huge £3,630 (Rs. 3.42 Lakhs).
Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Ice’
This unique looking retro Air Max 90 silhouette, part of ‘The Ten’ collection, came into the market on September 9, 2017.
Bollywood actress-singer Alia Bhatt dons these cool kicks, wearing a floral blouse with pale blue jeans, achieving the chic look effortlessly.
Yet again, this is another imaginative take by Virgil on an absolute retro Nike silhouette, turning it into a modern masterpiece.
Along with the Air Jordan 1, Nike Blazer, Nike Air Presto and Nike Air VaporMax, the AM90s were part of the initial five-pair “REVEALING” pack of the Off-White x Nike ‘The Ten’ collection.
These icy creps are put together with a white upper in leather with an ice blue foam and grey overlays. Also, premium suede is distributed throughout the shoe, having that nice contrast in material usage.
Significantly, the trademark Swoosh is stitched on like all of the Off-White x Nike sneakers but these come in reflective white.
To commemorate this classic silhouette, within the inner walls of this shoe, the words ‘Beaverton, Oregon USA’ and ‘1990’ are in sight.
When made available to the general public, this highly prized release cost £120 (Rs. 11.22k). The deadstock price range of this silhouette go for an extensive £873 – £1,280 (Rs. 81.61k – Rs. 1.20 Lakhs).
During a 12-month period, ‘Icy’ were bought by a customer on StockX for a high of £2,509 (Rs. 2.34 Lakhs).
Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Desert Ore’
Here, coming into stores on February 7, 2019, we have the ‘Desert Ore’, another Off-White x Nike Air Max 90.
Particularly, actor Arjun Kapoor was seen styled on point with these vibrant sneakers. In detail, he was wearing a traditional white kurta with a long beige cardigan, creating the perfect contemporary look with the ‘Desert Ore’ colourway.
Abloh takes his paintbrush and creatively dismantles the Air Max 90. The deconstructed, industrial detailing theme continues.
These joints are presented with a mixed material upper in a warm, tan shade, ideal for the autumn and winter seasons. Instantly, the stitched-on Swoosh pops in the ‘Bright Mango’ colour.

Of course, these collaborative sneakers would not be complete without the zip tie in light blue this time.
Initially, when these Off-White x Nike shoes were available, they were going for £140 (Rs. 13.10k). If you have fresh, unworn ‘Desert Ores’, they will resell from £574 – £720 (Rs. 51.16k – Rs. 67.34k).
Also, the 12-month high sale price for these trainers was £928 (Rs. 86.82k).
Off-White x Nike Air Presto ‘Black’
Available from September 9, 2017, this silhouette is one of the most iconic and fan favourite sneaker of critically acclaimed ‘The Ten’ capsule.
Veteran Bollywood actor-producer Anil Kapoor was pictured lounging in his house, rocking these Prestos. Looking dapper in a dark grey cardigan, a black top and black skinny jeans.
In particular, these beautiful sneakers are part of the “REVEALING” theme of ‘The Ten’ collection. Notably, the highly popular Air Presto is one of the most bodacious pieces from the Off-White x Nike collaboration.

Entering the market on August 3, 2018, we have another colourway of the Off-White x Nike Air Presto with the added creativity of Virgil Abloh.
Shades on, Bollywood actor and sneaker collector Ranbir Kapoor rocks these perfectly versatile yet stylish shoes.
Cap on, Ranbir keeps things casual, top to bottom in Off-White, wearing a navy hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, both with Off-White branding in white.
These bad boys are like the previous Off-White Prestos, same deconstruction and industrialism all over. This beautiful lifestyle runner exposes the inner foam of the tongue whilst highlighting the rough seams.
You really cannot go wrong with all-white stylish sneakers!
Truly, these shoes really ooze simplicity and class. In fact, they are so fresh and clean, it is most certainly a summer favourite.
Upon release, this cool and crispy sneaker retailed for £120 (Rs. 11.22k). For those who missed out on these sweet Off-White Prestos, resellers want your money.
You would have to pay from £470 – £617 (Rs. 43.79k – Rs. 57.49k ) on StockX for a deadstock pair.
A consumer ended up paying a high of £959 (Rs. 89.36k) within a 52-week duration and could you blame them!
Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax ‘White’
The Off-White x Nike Air Vapormax ‘White’ hit the internet on April 14, 2018.
Clearly, these are a favourite within Bollywood as three celebrities were seen in these Off-White VaporMax. Markedly, actor Arjun Kapoor, actor Hrithik Roshan and actress-singer Parineeti Chopra wore these cool creps, styling them in different ways.
Once again, Arjun puts on a pair of Off-White sneakers, keeping it street-savvy, wearing a red backpack, a black jumper and tracksuit bottoms.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan goes for a smart casual look, sporting black shades, a charcoal top, black jeans and a checkered blue shirt.
Notably, Parineeti Chopra pulls off a gym-ready and cool look with the Off-White VaporMax. One look includes a white and blue half-zip sweatshirt and black joggers.

Coming out on October 4, 2018, we have the Off-White x Nike Blazer Mid in the ‘Grim Reaper’ colourway.
Arjun Kapoor really loves the collaboration between Off-White and Nike as he was also rocking these shoes. Arjun wears a black hoodie with navy shorts with the ‘Grim Reapers’.
These ‘Grim Reapers’ are very mystical, completing the Halloween themed holiday pack by Abloh.
Keeping on the Halloween theme, this sneaker comes in a deep death black colour with an oversized Swoosh.
The subtle orange stitching not only does well representing Halloween, but it also works excellently with the black and grey upper.
This iconic basketball shoe is reworked nicely, ideal for flexing on the court and street.
A black midsole is peculiar but works wonders on these Blazers, giving comfort, smoothness and style. Also, the Off-White zip tie comes in a light blue colour.

Nevertheless, the highest these have sold for is £963 (Rs. 89.61k) in a 52-week period.
Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit ‘Total Orange’
Kicking off on June 14, 2018, we have the Off-White Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit which takes inspiration from the FIFA World Cup (2018).
Clicked, actor Arjun Kapoor walks in these bright orange sneakers, staying casual as per, shades on, wearing a white t-shirt, grey zip hoodie and black shorts. Evidently, actor Arjun is a sneakerhead due to all these sneakers that he owns and wears.
Visionary Virgil Abloh continues to impress the street culture scene with his sneaker designs. As you can tell by the Off-White x Nike collection, these abstract sneaker designs carry loads of focal points.
For example, you have the soft, lightweight upper which is in vibrant orange colour. In bold lettering, “FOAM” features on the white, chunky Lunarlon midsole.
