The show is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 23, 2024.
The web series is produced by Sol Production’s Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes, while Sandeep Kukreja is the director.
The trailer for Follow Kar Lo Yaar has already generated buzz.
From wanting to look young to breaking her tooth, Uorfi showcases her unfiltered version.
It begins with a montage, where she can be heard saying:
“Either I will die or I will make the world go crazy.”
The trailer also introduces fans to Uorfi’s sister and mother.
On the web series, Uorfi explained: “I have always dreamed big, even when people said I couldn’t do it.
“Creating a stir in the world of glamour and becoming famous has been my game plan since day one. Trust me, it hasn’t been easy.
“My life has had more ups than downs, moments that would have broken anyone else.
“But every time I came back stronger and more determined than before.”
Uorfi Javed expressed her ambition to become India’s equivalent of Kim Kardashian, drawing a parallel between her journey and Kardashian’s impact on global pop culture.
During the trailer launch, Uorfi talked about her desire for the series to have 10 seasons.
She added: “Do you think you know Uorfi? Well, get ready to see the real thing. It’s going to be an exciting ride, and I can’t wait for you all to join me!
“People have only seen one side of my story, but my life away from social media is even crazier.
“Follow Kar Lo Yaar is raw, real and 100 per cent mine – unfiltered and outspoken.”
Sandeep Kukreja also revealed: “The real thrill and the real test was capturing the unknown and uncontrolled moments of her life that her followers and the world never saw.
“Reality, in its rawest form, surprises us in ways we never expect, and documenting that unpredictability was both challenging and exciting.”
With its mix of fashion, fun, and personal revelations, the series is set to capture the attention of Uorfi’s vast fanbase and beyond.
