"What kind of misbehaviour is this?"
A video showing Uorfi Javed being arrested is going viral.
The apparent arrest was due to her bold outfit, something Uorfi has become known for since her brief stint on Bigg Boss OTT.
In the video, Uorfi is wearing jeans and a revealing broken heart top.
After exiting a Mumbai restaurant, Uorfi is approached by two female constables.
The constables – who are accompanied by a male officer – ask Uorfi to come with them to the police station.
When Uorfi asks why they want her to come with them, the constables explain that action was being taken due to her inappropriate outfit.
She reluctantly agrees. The constables hold Uorfi’s wrists and walk to the police vehicle.
An annoyed Uorfi is heard asking:
“What kind of misbehaviour is this?”
After getting inside, the vehicle drives off.
Meanwhile, bystanders watched the incident unfold and one person filming was heard laughing and questioning what was happening.
The video went viral and it divided viewers.
Some were shocked by what they had watched, with one person writing:
“God bless you Uorfi. Don’t worry, sending positivity.”
Another said: “Not the right thing to do! We are becoming a moral policing nation!”

Others supported the apparent arrest, with one person writing:
“Nice… good work by Mumbai police… don’t release her outside, let her be in jail till she writes a bond of not wearing inappropriate clothes in public.”
Another commented: “Well done Mumbai Police. Everything has a limit. She is crossing all the limits every day.”
However, some believed that Uorfi Javed’s arrest was fake, questioning why she was taken inside a regular SUV and not a police van.
One person said: “This is beyond fake, more publicity.”
Another commented: “I think publicity gimmick.
“Unless a person is without clothes in public, he/she can’t be detained but yes can be asked to leave certain areas where dress rules apply.”
A third said:
“That’s not a real police vehicle. This looks staged.”
Since exiting the first series of Bigg Boss OTT, Uorfi Javed has gained a lot of attention for her bold outfits.
She makes most of her outfits but the revealing nature of them has polarised social media users.
Uorfi is often trolled for her fashion choices but some stars such as Yo Yo Honey Singh have praised her style.
The singer previously said: “I loved that kid very much.
“She is very fearless and brave. She wants to live her life in her own way.
“I think all girls in our country should learn from her.
“Do whatever you set your mind to without any hesitation, without fear of anyone, no matter where you come from, no matter what religion, caste or family you belong to.
“Do not do everything that does not belong in your family, but do what your heart says, without fear of anyone.”
