SS Rajamouli has gone viral for his meeting with Steven Spielberg.
The Indian director has been on a high after the RRR track ‘Naatu Naatu’ won a Golden Globe for ‘Best Original Song’.
Composed by MM Keeravani and with lyrics by Chandrabose, the upbeat track features Jr NTR and Ram Charan stomp across the floor in a vigorous routine that blends multiple dance styles.
After making history by becoming the first Indian film to win a Golden Globe, the filmmakers have been winning praise.
Indian stars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan congratulated the makers.
A viral video from the event showed Rihanna congratulating the RRR team as she passed their table.

SS Rajamouli took to Twitter and thanked everyone for showering love on RRR.
He tweeted: “SPEECHLESS… Music truly knows no boundaries.
“Congratulations and thank you PEDDANNA for giving me #NaatuNaatu. This one is special.
“I thank each and every fan across the globe for shaking their leg and making it popular ever since the release of #GoldenGlobes.”
The international recognition of RRR has hit new heights as SS Rajamouli shared pictures of him meeting Steven Spielberg.
One picture showed him trying to contain his excitement as he met the Schindler’s List director.
Another image featured Rajamouli and RRR‘s composer MM Keeravani posing with Spielberg.
Sharing his appreciation for the Hollywood director, Rajamouli wrote:

The pictures went viral and fans began tweeting about the moment.

Prior to the film’s Golden Globes win, Jr NTR said the international recognition RRR has received is an award in itself.
He said: “The West accepting us, America, the Mecca of filmmaking, here we are at the Globes… what else can an actor ask for, what else can I ask for being a part of RRR. I am truly honoured.
“I was at the TCL yesterday, it was on my bucket list and oh my god, that just blew my mind.
“That reaction was nothing less than the reaction back home in theatres. I just loved it.
“The very essence of the audience accepting RRR is in itself a very big award.”
