"I have sworn never to speak to her for life."
It seems that all is not well between Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill and her father, Santokh Singh.
Santokh has stated that he will never speak to his daughter for life.
Shehnaaz is currently in Chandigarh with actor Sidharth Shukla to shoot a music video.
An Instagram video posted by Sidharth showed him dancing with Shehnaaz and Tony Kakkar in what looked to be a fun break amidst their busy schedule.
However, her father Santokh is not happy and revealed that she did not contact her family or visit them despite being two hours away from the family home.
He has now angrily sworn to never speak to her again.
Santokh told Telly Chakkar: “Shehnaaz shot in Chandigarh and could not come to meet her own family which is just two hours away.
“I came to know about her shooting in Chandigarh also through the media reports and not her personally.
“Her grandfather has recently undergone a knee operation but she did not bother to at least pay a visit and check on him.
“Now when will we get a chance to see her even I do not know as it is not often that she comes up north to shoot or visit!
“I do not have her manager’s contact number too to reach out to her.
“In fact, I have sworn never to speak to her for life.”
He went on to say that when he asked her to come and visit, she refused and said she does not have time.
Santokh added: “I have a few family friends whose kids wanted to get pictures clicked with her as they love her, however, when I requested her she refused saying that there will be too many people and that she doesn’t have time for that.
“She should at least meet her fans in Punjab if she has come here.”
Shehnaaz Gill gained fame on Bigg Boss 13 in 2019 where she finished as the second runner-up. She also appeared on Bigg Boss 14 as a guest.
Santokh was in the headlines in May 2020 after he was accused of raping a woman at gunpoint in his car.
The alleged victim had gotten into a row with her boyfriend, who was a friend of Santokh. When she found out he was staying at Santokh’s house, she went to meet him.
On May 14 at around 5:30 pm, she went to Singh’s house to meet her boyfriend. Singh’s father was outside the house, apparently waiting for her.
According to the victim, Singh made her sit in his car and promised that she would meet Lucky.
At that point, Singh allegedly raped the woman at gunpoint. He also threatened to kill her before dropping her off at the border.
A rape case was registered, however, Santokh’s son Shehbaz Badesha said that the allegations was an attempt to defame his father.
