"I, too, have to face the consequence."
Former Bigg Boss contestant Arti Singh has revealed that her uncle Govinda and his family no longer speak to her.
She stated that she has faced some “consequences” due to the feud between her uncle and her brother Krushna Abhishek.
As a result, Arti has said that Govinda has cut contact with her also.
She explained: “There’s a saying that, when bulls fight, grass gets trampled.
“Whatever issue that happened between them, I, too, have to face the consequence.
“Chi chi mama and his family doesn’t speak to me anymore.”
Arti Singh went on to say that it is on Govinda to do the forgiving.
She added: “Both parties have said somethings to each other.
“However, at the end of the day, we are family. I can only hope that the animosity is resolved soon and we can get back to the good times.
“I did speak to Krushna about it, and now it’s on mama to forgive him.”
Since 2016, things have not been well between Krushna and Govinda.
Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja became offended after Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah tweeted about “people who dance for money”.
Sunita believed the tweet was aimed at Govinda.
This led to a feud which saw Krushna refuse to share the stage with his uncle.
Govinda then released a statement. He had said:
“I am utterly sad to talk about this in public, but it is high time that the truth came out.”
“I read the report about my nephew (Krushna Abhishek) not performing on a TV show as I was invited as a guest.
“He also spoke about our relationship. His statement had many defamatory comments and was thoughtless.”
The feud escalated after Krushna said he would not be in an upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, that was set to feature Govinda and Sunita.
Sunita was left “distressed beyond words” and that the issues between them would never be resolved.
She said: “It will never happen. Three years ago, I had said that things could not be resolved till I am alive.
“You can’t misbehave, insult or take liberties in the name of family. We have raised them and are not living off them.
“All I can say is that the issues will never get resolved and I don’t want to see his face ever again in my life.”
