The reasons behind their estrangement are complex

Ansar Burney has finally revealed why he and his brother are estranged from each other, blaming it on morning shows.

Ansar Burney, a Pakistani human and civil rights activist and former Federal Minister for Human Rights, appeared on Asad Ijaz’s podcast.

There he discussed the reasons behind his differences with his brother, Sarim Burney.

Sarim is also a prominent figure in the field of human rights. The two brothers have been estranged since 2012 due to certain complications that arose between them.

The reasons behind their estrangement are complex and multifaceted, involving disagreements over certain activities and actions.

Ansar Burney stated that despite their differences, his brother is still his brother, and he prays for his happiness and well-being.

He emphasised the importance of not forgetting one’s mentors and highlighted the significance of respecting and honouring those who have guided and supported us.

Ansar Burney attributed the differences between him and his brother to the fake marriages and adoptions that take place on morning TV shows.

He revealed that those marriages were responsible for seven divorces that he had to finalise through their NGO.

He said that children were sold for 10-20 lakhs in the name of adoption.

Ansar said: “What guarantee is there that they would not go abroad and sell their eyes?

“It is not allowed for a man to hug his adopted daughter who is not his biological daughter.

“Just because people can’t have kids, they start buying kids. Which is totally wrong.”

He described the television marriages and adoptions as ‘pure drama’ and expressed concern about the welfare of the children involved.

Ansar highlighted the need for responsible and ethical behaviour in all aspects of life, including media and entertainment.

According to reports, Ansar Burney had dismissed his brother Sarim Burney from their NGO.

This was due to Sarim’s participation in a live TV show that featured a Hindu boy converting to Islam.

This was allegedly staged by the TV show host and Sarim Burney. This incident appears to have been a significant factor in their estrangement.

Viewers overwhelmingly sympathised with Ansar Burney’s sentiments, widely sharing his disdain for morning shows and their deceptive practices.

Many concurred that these programmes often prioritise sensationalism over truth, perpetuating a culture of dishonesty and exploitation.

By fabricating scenarios and manipulating narratives, morning shows compromise journalism’s integrity and undermine their audience’s trust.

A user wrote:

“He is right, Sarim Burney is a Mafia.”

Another added: “I never got good vibes from Sarim. Now I know why.”

One commented: “He is a man with principles. Ansar did not even tolerate his brother when it came to morals.”
