The feud between Shakira and Meg hit the boiling point during the Couple Goals game, with the pair vowing to never speak again outside the Love Island villa.
The game, which asked couples to reveal their honest thoughts on each other, saw heated moments between Harry and Dejon and also Harry and Blu.
Earlier in the game, Meg claimed she had “always been nice” to Shakira, despite viewers watching her gossip behind her back.
But the real drama unfolded when Islanders were asked: “Which couple is the most fake?”
Meg and Dejon selected Shakira and Harry.
Meg explained: “I feel like Shakira, you’ve made some very hurtful comments to me that we’re not very nice and I’ve always been there for you.”
Shakira, unimpressed, turned to Harry and said: “The gloves are off now.”
Later, the Islanders were asked: “Which couple are you most scared to give your honest opinion on?”
Shakira and Harry chose Meg and Dejon, which sparked an argument, as Meg said:
“I think if people were honest in the first place and told us to our faces instead of saying it constantly behind our back, it would be a different story.”
Shakira fired back: “You throwing around the fake word is rich to be honest. I don’t know why you keep acting like we’re the best of mates in here.
“From day one, you were very standoffish with any girl that was posed as a threat.”
Meg replied: “I think you’ve called every single person in this Villa fake”, prompting Shakira to declare:
“No, I will never pretend to be your mate.”
The row ended with both vowing to cut ties after the show.
Meg said: “You won’t be my friend on the outside.”
Shakira agreed: “I will never speak to you on the outside. I honestly can’t stand you sometimes.”

The evening grew more tense as Toni and Blu clashed by the firepit. The American admitted she was “over it” before Blu taunted her and called her a “pick-me girl”.
ITV2 viewers were left stunned, calling the 2025 series of Love Island the most “hostile” ever.
One fan wrote: “I’ve watched Love Island since series one and this series is hands down the most uncomfortable to watch.
“This girl divide is f****n awful. The smart a** comments thrown about, the sly digs, the ganging up on 1 girl… It’s actually draining.”
