The Samsung Galaxy M51 also comes with a large screen
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has been confirmed to release in India on September 10, 2020. The smartphone is all set to go official in the country via an online launch event.
The smartphone manufacturer has been pushing its M series of devices in India.
The company recently launched the Galaxy M31s, which is currently one of the best phones available under Rs. 20,000 (£200).
Along with the Galaxy M31s, the Galaxy M51 will take on the likes of the OnePlus Nord, Realme 6 Pro and Redmi 9 Pro among others.
The release of the new device in India means that customers will also get the device with a massive 7,000mAh battery.
It is the first device from Samsung to come with a battery bigger than 6,000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 also comes with a large screen, powerful processor and advanced camera setup.
The Galaxy M51 comes packed with a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, which means the selfie camera is inside of the punch hole.
The smartphone phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card. The phone is said to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor.
When it comes to the camera, the Galaxy M51 includes a quad rear camera and a single image sensor on the front.
The rear panel includes a 64MP primary sensor, 12MP secondary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 5MP macro lens.
It also has a 32MP front camera, meaning that selfies will be clear.
Like other Samsung devices which have been released recently, the Galaxy M51 runs on Android 10 with One UI software.
The price of the Galaxy M51 in India is expected to be similar to its price in Germany.
The Galaxy M51 starts at €360 in Germany that roughly translates to Rs. 31,600 (£320) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The company is yet to confirm the variants it plans to bring to India.
According to reports, the Galaxy M51 will cost between Rs. 25,000 (£255) and Rs. 30,000 (£300) and will come in two colours, black and white.
The launch of the Samsung Galaxy M51 will be an online-only event and will start at 12 noon on September 10, 2020.
It will be available on Amazon, just like other M series devices.
This looks to be one of the most anticipated mid-range devices from Samsung.
