Congratulations are in order for Sadaf Kanwal and Shehroz Sabzwari, who have welcomed their first child.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, has recently welcomed a baby girl.
Supermodel Mehreen Syed took to Instagram and shared a picture of Shehroz with the newborn.
While Shehroz and Sadaf had kept quiet on the matter, Behroze Sabzwari previously finally put all the speculation regarding Sadaf’s possible pregnancy to rest.
The veteran actor confirmed in an appearance on Rabia Anum’s Piyara Ramazan that his daughter-in-law is indeed expecting her first child with husband Shahroz Sabzwari.
During a conversation on the show, Behroze shared: “Our daughter-in-law, Sadaf, she is such a lovely child.
“I request prayers for her because mashaAllah she is…,” after which Rabia interjected with, “She’s expecting?”
The actor then responded in the affirmative, followed by many congratulations from the host.
He jokingly added later on: “Think about it, I’ll become a grandfather at such as a young age once again.”
Sadaf Kanwal had sparked pregnancy rumours after making an appearance on a game show in April 2022.
She and Shahroz Sabzwari appeared as guests on Jeeto Pakistan.
But viewers and social media users began speculating that Sadaf was pregnant after noticing what they believed were subtle clues.
Firstly, as host Fahad Mustafa introduced Sadaf to the stage, Shahroz repeatedly told her “carefully” as she walked to the stage.
Another thing netizens noticed was her outfit.
Sadaf wore a loose-fitting brown dress from her eponymous fashion line. She paired it with a matching dupatta and slip-on sandals.
Throughout the show, Sadaf was frequently seen adjusting her outfit in a certain way.
Sadaf’s dupatta was also wrapped around her waist, hiding what viewers felt looked like a baby bump.
Netizens believed she was pregnant and congratulated the couple.
Pregnancy speculation also arose a few days before the couple’s Jeeto Pakistan appearance.
She and Shahroz attended a family wedding and several videos from the event saw family members enjoying themselves and dancing.
However, netizens noticed that Sadaf Kanwal was not on the dancefloor, instead enjoying the celebrations from the side-lines.
Since getting married in May 2020, the couple has been in the headlines.
Their wedding came just a few months after Shahroz parted ways with his wife of seven years, Syra Yousef, due to “irreconcilable differences”.
It was believed the reason behind their split was because of Shahroz’s illicit relationship with Sadaf, a rumour both had previously denied.
