"Sana Javed herself came to me"
Several of Sana Javed’s co-workers have posted on social media to stick up for her after others came forward with their “horrible” experiences of working with the actress.
Sana had allegedly misbehaved with models, makeup artists and stylists on set or while getting her makeup done.
The actress was called out by Manal Saleem who had taken the matter to Instagram and wrote:
“Requesting all the clients to not ask me to shoot with any actress/celebrity ever again.
“With their self-entitled attitudes, they think we are ‘two-bit models’. The audacity to say that on my face!
“We come here to work, not to be insulted for free.”
She did not, however, name Sana Javed in her post.
She received support from makeup artist Omayr Waqar and stylist Aneela Murtaza among other entertainment industry professionals while makeup artists Ikram Gohar and Rhyan Thomas also shared their experiences online.
On March 10, 2022, Sana responded to the allegations with a legal notice posted on her Instagram account and called it a “proper smear campaign.”
Since then, members of the entertainment industry have been showing support for her.
In a Tweet shared on March 11, 2022, Fahad Mustafa, who produced Sana’s drama serial Dunk, supported her and wrote:
“I have worked with Sana Javed on various projects and she’s been a part of my show for the last 2 years & in these times I’ve found her extremely professional and humble not just with me but with my team too.”
Since then, Fahad Mustafa has continued to support Sana.
The actress recently made an appearance on Jeeto Pakistan alongside Fahad.
It seemed that Sana’s appearance was made to save the face of the actress after the controversy.
Just after Sana Javed’s entry, Fahad Mustafa started narrating the story of his spot boy who had come to him earlier and said:
“Fahad Bhai, today I am very happy because Sana Javed herself came to me and asked about me.”
Fahad added that the spot boy has worked with him for almost four years.
However, more claims of bad behaviour against the actress have since surfaced.
Makeup artist Wajid Khan wrote that Sana “should focus more on her acting rather than playing games with people”.
Syed Hussain, who happens to be the MUA who was hired to style Manal and Sana for the shoot mentioned in Manal’s original post, has corroborated the model’s story.
