Raj Kundra posted a tweet in 2012 that did not sit well with Reddit users after it was rediscovered.
The businessman tweeted his thoughts about pornography and prostitution.
On March 29, 2012, Raj posted: “Here goes – porn vs prostitution.
“Why is it legal for someone to pay someone for sex on camera?
“How is one different to the other?”
Raj Kundra’s tweet generated backlash on Reddit.
One user commented: “Do that tweet again, and he’ll be in big trouble.”
Another person said: “I think he likes porn.”
A third user wrote: “Everything I know about this guy is against my will.”
A fourth stated: “It’s our mistake to expect more from him. He isn’t obligated to meet our expectations after all.”
In India, soliciting a prostitute is illegal. However, across the world, most sites containing adult content can be accessed freely.

This tweet was posted in 2012, but in recent times, Raj Kundra has not been free of controversy.
It was previously alleged that Raj filmed adult films with Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra.
In July 2021, Raj was arrested due to the suspicions. He was granted bail in September 2021, after providing a surety amount of Rs 50,000 (£470).
Raj Kundra is the estranged husband of Shilpa Shetty. He divulged his prison experience:
“It’s humiliating because they strip you down completely in front of everyone.
“They check your bum to see if you are carrying any narcotics.
“So, you feel like you have lost all your dignity. You feel like you have gone through so much and now here also they are stripping you down.
“The media was already doing that and now this also happened.
“I felt disheartened and hurt. You don’t get proper food or sleep, and people were talking lecherously about me and Shilpa.
“I don’t know why I was not put in the barracks where the so-called celebrities are put.
“I was put in a common barrack. I have no qualms about that.
“You don’t get a VIP status when you stay in the celebrity barracks.
“It’s just that five people live there vs the common barracks where 250 people were living in a place meant only for 50 people.

“There was so much humiliation, reputational damage. Because of me, the media went behind my wife, children and parents.”
