"Are they being used as pawns to vent out dirty political vendettas?"
Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has voiced her anger concerning the latest happenings in Sushant Singh Rajput’s ongoing death case.
The actress questioned whether Kangana Ranaut and Rhea Chakraborty are being used as mere pawns for political vendetta.
Rhea, who is considered a prime suspect in the late actor’s demise was jailed on Tuesday, 8 September 2020 under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act by the NCB.
On the other hand, Kangana has openly appealed for justice for Sushant who she believes was mistreated by Bollywood members.
Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office was also vandalised and demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in the morning on Wednesday, 9 September 2020.
Taking to Twitter, Kangana shared a video of BMC officials in her office.
She wrote:
“They have forcefully taken over my office measuring everything, also harassing my neighbours when they retorted @mybmc officials used language like, everyone must pay for the lady’s behaviour.
“I am informed tomorrow they are demolishing my property.”

The demolition occurred a few days before Kangana was due to return to Mumbai.
On Wednesday afternoon, Raveena took to Twitter to question “dirty political vendettas.” She wrote:
“Crushing, Demolishing, Mayhem. Sad Sad. All thats happening. Two women, Two sides, are they being used as pawns to vent out dirty political vendettas?
“Murder, Nepotism, Suicide, Family Grief, MentalHealth, Mafia, Vendetta, Cops, Journalism, Politics, Drugs, Films. #JusticeForSSR shouldn’t be diluted.”
Commenting on the partial demolition of her Mumbai office, Kangana Ranaut stated that it was an act of “fascism.”
She further added that this was the “death of democracy.” The actress also mentioned that this act was carried out because she was targeted for speaking out against the Maharashtra government.
In a video message, Kangana warned the chief minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray that his “pride will crumble” shortly.
She also compared her state to the 1990 Kashmiri Pandit exodus. She said:
“Uddhav Thackeray, did you think that you took revenge on me by colluding with the film mafia and demolishing my house?
“My house has been demolished today but your pride will crumble tomorrow. Time will change.”
This bitter feud was sparked when Kangana compared Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The actress also criticised the Mumbai Police.
Meanwhile, Rhea’s bail was rejected on Tuesday, 8 September 2020. On Wednesday, 9 September 2020 she was taken to Byculla Jail.
