"These are untrained dogs."
Actor Raveena Tandon had a near-bite scare at the special screening of Ohh My Dog in Mumbai when a dog turned suddenly aggressive.
The incident occurred on the red carpet when a dog at the event pulled at the sleeve of the 53-year-old actress’s dress.
Raveena, who was dressed in a yellow outfit for the occasion, had been spending time with one of the dogs present at the event.
She sat down to pet the animal and posed warmly with it for photographers, appearing completely comfortable and at ease throughout.
The situation changed unexpectedly when she stood up, and the dog noticed a loose thread on the sleeve of her dress.
The dog pulled at the fabric and began barking, creating a tense and alarming moment for those present at the screening.
Raveena remained remarkably calm throughout the incident and did not panic or attempt to push the dog away at any point.
She allowed the handlers to step in and safely manage the situation without escalating the moment unnecessarily in any way.
Once the handlers brought the situation under control, Raveena demonstrated her affection for animals by patting the dog again.
When paparazzi later asked whether she had been hurt during the incident, the actress calmly confirmed that she was completely fine.
She explained that the dog had begun barking after noticing another dog nearby.
The actress said that the thread from her sleeve had accidentally become tangled in the dog’s teeth.
Her composed response to the incident drew considerable admiration from fans and onlookers.

Ohh My Dog was shot across parts of Assam and Bihar, where the logistics of filming with animals presented unique and formidable challenges.
Director Amit Rai spoke about one particularly demanding sequence that involved more than two hundred dogs chasing ambulances: “These are untrained dogs.
“With the help of an NGO that uses an ambulance to feed stray dogs, we followed a process for several days to create the cinematic impact.”
His account highlighted the extraordinary effort that went into crafting the film’s most ambitious and visually striking animal sequences.
Ohh My Dog stars Pankaj Tripathi in a leading role alongside a strong ensemble cast of talented performers.
The film also features Pawan Malhotra, Maahi Rai, Rajesh Kumar, Geeta Agrawal, Vijay Mishra, Shreedhar Dubey, Bulloo Kumar and Sulakhyana Baruah.
