"There's another surprise as well."
English Norwegian DJ and record producer Alan Walker is currently in Pakistan, and fans are paying close attention.
He seems to be spending a lot of time in Lahore with viral sensations Hamza Malik and Zain Zohaib.
Walker enjoyed some Pakistani hospitality during his visit, including a traditional halwa puri breakfast.
He also took in the majestic Lahore Fort as part of his trip to the city.
On November 4, 2026, Walker teased a video on his social media accounts with the caption “more to come soon”.
The hit song ‘Alfaaz’ by Malik, Zain Ali and Zohaib Ali played over the teaser.
Malik shared a picture on his Instagram stories showing Walker wearing a shawl with the word alfaaz on it in Urdu.
He added a note of his own, writing: “There’s another surprise as well.”
The ‘Faded’ producer also posted a story on his own Instagram featuring the Pakistani singers.
He captioned it: “BTW, it was a very productive day.”
Another story showed Walker inside the studio with Zain Zohaib and Hamza Malik.
In a video shared by Giraffe Studios, Walker spoke about his arrival in the city:
“I just got to Lahore and it’s beautiful here, and I’m about to go to the studio to work on some music.”
The video itself mentions “a dream collaboration”, which has only fuelled speculation among fans.
Many are now wondering whether the visit has anything to do with the uber-popular song topping charts.
‘Alfaaz’ was placed at the top of the weekly music chart from Genius in the first week of November 2026.
Genius is a website that claims to be the world’s largest collection of song lyrics.
The song shared the list with works from popular Western artists like Tate McRae, Eminem and Radiohead.
‘Alfaaz’ also maintained a commanding position on Spotify’s charts in recent days.
It held the top spot on the daily charts from both Pakistan and India.
It also placed 42nd on the platform’s Top 50 Global list.
The song has also kept its position in second place on the UK’s Official Asian Music Chart.
That chart is largely dominated by Indian music, which makes the achievement even more notable.
An earlier press release from Giraffe Studios called the song’s success “unprecedented” for a Pakistani song.
The studio is the force behind the track and described it as an “example of how far a song can travel when it finds its audience”.
This is the studio’s second chart topper after ‘Majboor’ by Sheheryar Rehan and Zoha Waseem in 2025.
That song also topped Spotify’s Pakistan chart and peaked at second place on the India chart.
Giraffe said both songs were “different stories, shaped by different artists and trajectories”.
For now, fans are eagerly waiting to see what Alan Walker and the Pakistani singers have created together in Lahore.
